Pelicans finalizing trade for Asik

I respect being a family man. But being a family man doesn't include alienating a team/fanbase right before you even gave it a shot.

So has this deal went down yet? or did it fall through?

Gordon is better than anything we can get on the market. It makes no sense to trade him unless another team is willing to gamble on him and not take any significant assets from us. People let their hate blind them instead of seeing what's best for the team.

This will be the final piece to the Asik trade.

So I know I'm getting a little impatient maybe but can we expect to hear something at 12:01 am or will it be tomorrow Sometime ??

If you haven't met Gordon in person like some of us here have then you have no idea what you are talking about. And if you respect the opinions of people who are consistently on the right side of things then I'm not telling you to hate Gordon but maybe try to understand that there are reasons that the rest of us do.

Thats the thing, if I though he was what was best for the team that would be fine. I dont. There is also nothing blind nor is there hate. I wish people would know the difference between "hate" and not not wanting the guy on the team

Why?
Charlotte supposedly had interest in Roberts.
We agree to a sign and trade.
They get Roberts and we get Hopson.

Then send out the non guaranteed contracts of Ely, Gee and Hopson for Asik.
This way we can keep Ajinca and Babbitt if we choose.
