Moore was clutch tonight
Where's the D 3 sec call?
God, we need Rondo back. I'm so sick of our players being too afraid to throw entry passes when AD has position.
Jameer DAGGER
Since I turned it off Moore has gone ham
Well done E'Twaun!
Next game, I'm starting Jameer, putting Jrue at the 2.
We can't have Jrue as our floor general.
Best thing Gentry did all night .. take the ball out of Jrues hand and gave it to Nelson . A real point gaurd .
I love Nelson, so so much.
Ian Clark and J. Nelson should be in this game. Jrue is so leisure with ball.
Jameer is the reason we won today! It's so refreshing to have a real PG lead the team. I can't wait until Rondo comes back so we can have two true PGs.
Jameer is a beautiful man and we already need to retire #1
Veteran point guard Jameer Nelson’s poise, playmaking and outside shooting already paying dividends for the Pelicans.

Kuzma could be Dennis Rodman with offense if he focused on the boards. He will battle with guys bigger than him for boards, and he will just will himself to winning. It would be fun to watch him in a Pels uniform, But we have no room for him here.
Dante wtf.
Jameer is only going to get better too
Jameer and E'Tuan saved our ****** tonight.
Ball doesn't understand hustle.
This game was WAY closer than it should have been.
Jameer Nelson is a godsend
a win's a win
now I can go back to being in sport bliss :D
Somehow this win feels like a loss.
Thank you, Jameer! St. Joe’s finest. Lol. I can finally breathe again. That was a long quarter.
NOP-LAL game is clear example of why Jameer Nelson stays employed & remains effective: He knows how to run a team. That’s no simple task

I'm taking this as a positive, I don't care.
We usually lose games where we blow it. We sucked it up, came back, and won the game.
FINALLY we win a game within the first 5 games of the season. Gentry's seat should be feeling at least a little warm though, after nearly blowing it.
Dang. Now General Disarray and Jrue both keep their jobs
Cousins and AD looked weird tonight.
We lose this game if Nelson is not on the team.
So...a good win followed by a terrible loss followed by a gut check comeback.
Having more depth is a positive. Now a three man team lol
Just this. The Lakers were running us out, the pace was getting out of hand for us, it was obvious some of our guys were panicking. Shots were coming from awkward isos and it all looked off. Nelson comes in, drags the pace down, makes some smart passes and intelligent shots, all of a sudden the win looks clear again. This is why you cut Crawford for Nelson.
Lakers went small and we had no counter. I took Gentry literally the entire 4th quarter to get the ball out of Jrues hand and let Nelson operate the offense and we finally started to hammer the lakers in the paint
We just did, friend. You're gonna wear out specific letters in your keyboard or on your phone sweating the money we paid Jrue.
It happened. Maybe in time, as guys like Schoeder, Elfrid Payton, and possibly even Eric Bledsoe get their deals, Jrue will slot right in with them too.
I’ll take Jrue at 6-11 shooting with 15, 5, and 5 every night along with solid D.
His game will look better as he transitions to full time off ball and secondary creator.
