Being taller and having that great length more than makes up for being thin when you're mostly on the perimeter. He'll be fine.

I mean that is the most bizarre comparison. I'd accept poor man's Jameer Nelson with a splash of Jimmer Ferdette than a smaller Vasquez.

Well yea of course I'll still support my team lol that's not even a thought..but of all possible scenarios that would be the most disappointing for me. Not sure how u would play both these guys at the same time. Neither one of them are ready for the c pos. so it'd be hard for them to be that duo your speaking of. I'm just really hoping for Burke or porter. I'm also on board for trading back n getting McW with our pick we'd trade bk to. This kid might wind up being the best pg in this draft when it's all said n done.

Why would he?

Burke can't play defense. Brandon Triche and others that are not nearly as talented as players entering the league killed him He can shoot and pass (like Vasquez). He won't be anything special. I'd pick Schroeder over him probably.

One of his weaknesses is his lateral quickness and defense. There are a lot of questions about his ability to keep other guards out of the paint. Didn't he score pretty bad on the lane agility drill?

Have you seen Burke? He couldn't do it in college against below average players. There's no reason to believe he'll start defending well now.

HornetsGuru nothing has indicated he will be a good defender at all so why would he be the exception where he doesn't need the speed?

What's the use for Burke? Monty and Dell keep saying we're picking for need. We have Vasquez. The only differences are that GV is taller and TB is more athletic. Both can shoot and pass and can't play D. Not really a big difference.

I compare Burke to more of a smaller kemba walker than cp

He's athletic enough to learn how to defend well at the next level. I'm not a big fan of taking him but he has the potential to be good enough defensively in my opinion. At worst he cant be anymore worse than Gravy

His sprint time was same as cp3 coming out of college. To compare him to anything Vasquez is just ludicrous.

Before I looked at Draft Express scouting report I was under the impression that Anthony Bennett was primarily an undersized, back to the basket power forward. But after watching that video I also came to the realization that Bennett also possess the versatility to play out on the perimeter and stretch the floor with his shooting ability. I'm starting to warm up to him and think he has the potential to be the most versatile scorer in this draft.
