Our lead was what, 28 or 29 at one point?

And someone bought up a great point: the Kings left their starters out there while we went to our bench. Hindsight is 20/20, but epic mistake by Monty. With a 28 point lead, you can afford to leave your starters in, since most of the 4th would have been garbage time anyway.

I get you gotta give starters a rest but when you're gonna insist on playing Roberts at PG just be aware that you can't play him for more than 2 ****ing min with out damn near losing the entire lead.

Looks like they are having Isiah play on Mason now, which takes that heat off GV. And GV is making them pay for it.

Monty too often seems like he's intent on playing every player an allotted amount of minutes. Unless he benches you for an entire game, you're going to get your minutes.

I don't think the Hornets had a 3rd quarter like that in quite a few games.

I've always liked the Kings announcers. Kind of like when I liked Joel Meyers when he called game for the Lakers.

They are giving Vasqwez some love.

To be fair to monty this is a rebuilding season and he wants to know who is going to be here next season. Keep in mind playoff chances are also slim, and overplaying players can lead to injury which would be a costly mistake. Does Monty overdo it a little sometimes... Yeah but we have plenty of time. And yes Rivers needs to play PG not roberts. I like Roberts as a shooter not much else.
