CJ might have dropped 30, but it wasn't a clean 30 by any means. Also, would have helped if he shot better than 50% from the free throw line.
I'm not saying he lost the game, by any means, but it wasn't one of his stellar performances either.

Need to give Nance some more help against McGee. I'd like to see Hernangomez get a shot. I think CP3 will have more fatigue Sunday than he did tonight after the extra day of rest, and won't have the same 4th quarter as he did in Games 1 and 3.
And a blind man will show them the way, and the way will lead to Larry Nance Jr not firing off ill timed 3s, and more JV.
Went about as I thought. Except for Jax being Jax. Thanks Jax.
But as long as this series goes 6 games I'm good. Please dont lose 3 in a row.
However, I think they needed a game to get used to the Bookerless Suns and how they'll play.
I actually like their chances of winning this series after tonight. ;)
Game 4 is now an absolute must win.
I can’t see the Pels going 3-0 if they lose game 4
Chris Paul said he would like anyone in New Orleans to let him know if they serve vegan gumbo. He's not eating the same way he used to when he was 20 years old in this city.

Imagine if he ate this same way when he was here…and I don’t think there’s vegan gumbo spots here is there?
Down the stretch need to put Jose on CP3 from the inbound, harass him and trap at half court with BI and have Herb read the play from there. Herb isnt going to pick CP's pocket. Herb is going to get into a passing lane if we make CP throw a pass under duress.
Also Hernangomez needs to get some burn against McGee
Good Morning fellas. I think the Pels will look at the tape and adjust those switches. More experience showed at the end and you learn from it and move forward. I had the pels winning last night but maybe losing Sunday. So I guess the reverse is gonna happen. If we can win Sunday. Tuesday gives us a shot to win this series in 6 games.
We used Herb and Nagee some to apply token pressure on CP3, but I think we need to make that Graham and Alvarado and Nagee with more intense pressure, trap him from half court to the 3-point line relentlessly then make them a 3-point shooting team by denying (as much as possible) entry into Ayton and McGee. Without Booker I'm less afraid of their 3-point shooters lasting the whole game.
Also, we need to drive on CP3 relentlessly whenever he is in there to wear him down and perhaps get him in foul trouble. He is a good defender that may turn us over a few extra times, but it is worth the risk. Maybe use his obnoxious swing-through move to get a cheap foul or two early....
As an aside, I'm so glad we don't have any perpetually pissed-off players similar to today's CP3. I love that our team seems to have fun when they make a good play and especially when the are on a run. Watching CP3, LeBron, Luka, Harden and similar sour-faced whiners gets old....
Why so much single coverage on CP? If anyone should know CP it should be Willie
why why why why why why why why why why why
Green went full retard last night
They abused our switching defense throughout the game, constantly getting their centers posting up our guards. Willie lost faith in Jonas being able to ply defense on Ayton (or anyone else) and yanked him at the end. Unfortunately our entire offense seems to revolve around pick and rolls using Jonas and BI or CJ. Once he got benched, our offense devolved into CJ and BI trying to play ISO, getting doubled, still trying to play ISO, continued to get doubled, and finally at the end of the shot clock throwing it to Nance for a desperation three.
Given how useless JV is defending the pick and roll, 15 mil per is generous
For the love of God, give me Time Lord
Hopefully they (Suns)getting liquored up at French Qtr Fest today. Didn’t Chris Paul tell ESPN he was going to watch golf tournament today?
Just no off ball movement at all...no cutting. Nothing to get some easy points in the paint. Just stagnant, no energy, iso ball smh
Was looking ahead at the schedule. Do they really have Games 5 and 6 as a back to back? If we can win tomorrow we guarantee a return trip to NOLA for Game 6. Don't see how CP3 can do his thing on Tues night in PHX, travel to NOLA and then be Point God again on Wed night. And if we win tomorrow, and take Game 6, anything can happen in Game 7. Who knows, Devonte may come off the bench and score 30.
We got to stop trying to do Lance and JV in the 4th. It has to be one or the other.
That
BI CJ Herb Lance Jonas line up is straight ****** on offense.
When you do that... Ayton gets matched up Jonas. They throw doubles on the point. Then, they push Lance on a perimeter island.
It's effectively 2 on 5 offense.
If you're going to run a 2 big line up. The second big can't sit on the perimeter. This is what lost us both game 1 and 3.
The ESPN.com website. Is that a bootleg Russian site? Check the right hand column where it shows all the games in the series, with scores and games remaining to be played. It shows Game 4(4/24), Game 5(4/26), Game6(4/27) and Game 7(4/29). Show me exactly where I'm reading it wrong. I'd like to know.

So rather than admitting your "bootleg Russian site" comment made you look arrogant, you'll try to backtrack. I realized that didn't seem right. I kind of questioned it my original comment. I said "Do they really have Games 5 and 6 as a back to back?" It was a question because I KNEW it didn't seem right. If you're the realist you say you are, just admit you were being snarky.
I was making fun of the site....not the person. The whole time. Never once even considered it was human error. Was laughing at the site being wrong from the beginning.
Man, people are so sensitive.
This series gives us a lot of good experience - We will grow after it.
trey playing 23mins with 0 points is unacceptable....if this were temple , naji or snell , some of yall on this board would be going crazy......jonas with 6pts is also bad....jax switching on cp3 in the high pick was the best defense we had on cp3 this series but jax is just out of control...
Points is the least important thing in the box score. Anybody who has an issue with a player simply because all they look at is points scored doesnt deserve to have their opinion heard any way.
The issue with Temple wasnt that he missed shots, its that he missed them while blocking minutes for guys who actually had a future on the team
Do you want to know or do you just want to be right and are waiting with another sarcastic response? Genuine question. Because if you want real conversation, you can get it. If you want typical outlandish, sarcastic internet arguing, I aint got time for that today
i tried...you came at me and i responded and now you dont have time or im being sarcastic....trey was bad last night with the miss defensive assignments and not scoring ..and again dont take my word for it..look at the replay and prove me wrong...one more time,,you came at me talking about dont look at his scoring and i ask you a simple question ,,what did trey do good last night?...
its cool...playboy you can have it....im bout to go enjoy the fest....enjoy yourself....
Trey was +21 last night lol who knew?
https://www.nba.com/game/phx-vs-nop-...core#box-score
Trey's +/- over the past month has mostly been spectacular, which is a very positive sign. The easiest answer to how a guy like Trey can be valuable without scoring is that he's a threat who the defense needs to stay close to and concerned about, which opens the floor for the other four to operate more freely.
It might not be fair to blame the rookies for a loss, but Trey going for 0 points and Jaxson getting ejected seem like the two most critical things that went wrong.
