November 4th - New Orleans Pelicans @ Brooklyn Nets - 1-5

If we only played perimeter defense we would win. Every damn game we get 3's bombed on us. Wide open 3's.

How do you not fix this deficiency? It's game after game.....

Outside of a bad 2nd quarter I love what I saw from this team. Had some defensive lapse in the 2nd half which is going to happen when playing aggressive and trying to come back. No loss is a good loss but this is another one that we can take a lot out of. Just need a few things to go our way and we can have a .500 team in our first 20 games.

Our needle is pointed so high it's scary how good we can be in the future.

Our supposed mvp candidate with another highly efficient 15 points on 17 shots.

Hasnt broken 20 points all year.

Ingram has no help besides what the bench guys can do.

I’m starting to think Jrue just isn’t going to show up.

People wanna give props to Gentry "Coaching up" a comeback should sit down. I said two years ago when won a bunch of close 50/50 games and ridiculous comebacks. It was all luck. Our luck has run out and Gentry can't let players come out flat and try to comeback from a ridiculous 22 point comeback. He let the lead get out of hand in 1st place.

It's a weekly occurrence with Gentry and these huge comeback attempts.

Exactly.... no reason for his team to come out and act like they are asleep.

I think fans have to show displeasure for Gentry more at the games to make a change. Gayle has to know he stinks. I know Griff isn’t sitting there thinking this is ok. They are losing the exact same way every game.

Seems like a few people here have to taper their expectations...

They shot 77 percent and made a bunch of 3s. That’s not a realistic efficient offense. Also, if you score 48 points in a quarter, a big lead should be the result.

Realistic? It happened. That's reality. Not saying all is forgiven. But for Christ's sake, tipping one's hat is unreasonable?

Another bright spot is Lonzo was looking good. Finally attacking the rim in between all the 3s.

And he's shooting 39% from 3 on the season.

Yea no kidding! That’s the funny part is Gentry getting all the blame like we were suppose to be the best team in the NBA. We are one of the youngest groups with the biggest roster turnover in the NBA. A few bounces our way and this is a winning team.

If people really want change then what is all the crying about? You think Gentry is gone if this team makes the playoffs? No you are looking at a contract extension. Maybe try to actually take from this team what you should be.. Or stay miserable the rest of the season..

It's a win-win. We stink and finish as a top 4 lotto team, we get yet another great player (no doubt a big or can't miss point) because I have full faith in our scouting department now, or we sneak into the playoffs and get some experience.

Though I do worry that if we sneak in, Gentry would get yet another season. He needs to go after this year. I only tolerate him because the team underachieving means we get a lotto pick. I'm not for T-wording, but sucking isn't the worst thing except for watching us lose.

Jrue is not a MVP type player - period.

we need a big who is all about rebounding with some post up offense....defensive scheme is all new with new players learning both ends of the court...defense should come together next month I hope....

I hope we don’t do any more roster turnover. I like the roster and strongly believe this team is great with a good coach.

I'd start Hayes with Melli.. He gives us much needed mobility, and energy on the interior.

We'd also be able to move Ingram back to the 3, which would help with our perimeter D.

He was outrageous tonight. Simply spectacular.

Another game where they didnt get woefully outrebounded. But the timing of the offensive rebounds were just the worst.

There was no iteration of possibility where we skip the rebuild right into being a contender. Maybe we could've overachieved and gotten further than we should've...but I don't know if that's the best for our long term outlook. And to speak on this abstract whatever you're talking about as corrupting is without merit. I mean, the Sixers went from a garbage team to one of the NBAs finest.

Did losing corrupt Embiid? Giannis wasn't always a Finals contender. They were 33-49 just four seasons ago.
