Yeah, from the limited body of work we've had available the past couple seasons for both of them, when he's on the court, he's better.

First thing to think about when moving Tyreke.
When has Dell ever dumped talent for nothing when he's trying to win..
Dell won't move Tyreke unless its for a significant player he can get not for a Tim Fraizer
Dell will not take on a contract with multiple season he wants that cap space.
Dell will not give a asset to move him.
Look how hesitant Dell was to move Ryan a player he knew he wouldn't keep and was in high demand. Keep listening to rumors as facts that we are trying to move him at all cost. Respect to the writer but the are bloggers who are hearing 3rd and 4th hand info. The only person who knows what they want to do is Dell and Ferry.
Rose is a 2x MVP that still sells tickets based off his name. He also is coming off a season where he played 66 games and Tyreke is coming off a season where he played 25, had yet another knee surgery, and is projected to only "possibly" be ready for training camp. We don't even know if he could pass a physical right now to even be traded.
If you want to sit here and believe at this moment that Tyreke and Rose have the same value then good luck with that. They aren't nearly the same situation.
And even if for some asinine reason we were to believe that they had the same value around the league, what exactly did Chicago get for Rose? Not an asset worth as much as WCS.
Seriously… how much do you think WCS is worth?!
Are you confusing Willie Cauley Stein with Karl Anthony Towns?
This is also Tyreke's only major injury in his career, while Rose has had several. I would hardly call Tyreke an injury prone player, while Rose very much is. And again I would think that Tyreke's production, which is much greater and more impactful than Rose's, in combination with the fact that his salary is about half Rose's and that he doesn't come with nearly as much baggage as Rose does. So yes not only would I say that Reke has the same value around the league, names aside, he probably has greater. Chicago didn't get much for him, but this is the Kings we're talking about. They're not exactly great negotiators.
Only major injury? Lol. Now I know you're just trolling.
Have a good night.
Reke for Koufos. It will create us around two-three millions.
Send Ajinca somewhere for a 2nd rounder.
Use space to sign Frazier and TRob. For around 7 combined.
Dump Douglas and Luke.
If the Pelicans can trade Tyreke Evans away and not have to accept a negative asset in return that will be a victory.
I honestly don't think it will happen either simply because it would be too perfect. I just believe that Reke has enough value to maybe pull in WCS (perhaps in conjunction with a first rounder idk). I think y'all are seriously underrating Reke, which is weird because I'm usually one of Reke's biggest haters.
You have to look at teams that need help at both guard spots. I've identified Dallas, Sacramento, Miami, Atlanta and Brooklyn as the top 5 potential destinations for his value. I can't see Vlade trading away WCS though.
is player like Koufos a negative asset though
- he is 27
- he has 8,0 and 8,39 in next two years. With PO in 2018/19 (8,7)
- Reke is expiring.
- trade creates us 2,3 millions in cap space, but kills some of our flexibility
- but You might trade Ajinca for 2nd rounder to dump his salary (he is going to be paid for 3 years for 4,8-5,5 millions)
- You may even stretch Asik if You wish. But having C rotation of Asik-Koufos offers you something.
Divac has not traded Evans to NO. Vivek was not their owner at that time...
Center for 8 millions a year is kinda respected asset nowadays.
don't say that like it but don't see many Reke suitors.
Earlier I had Bulls (signed Wade and Rondo - they won't sign him), Cavs (were interested in the past), Nets (signed Lin and gave offer sheets to Crabbe and Johnson - maybe it depends on matching. if PTB and MIA match - than Marks might like Reke), Boston (to replace Turner?). Maybe Phila (cause expiring with upside might interest them) or OKC?
it is really really hard to predict...
We would have to atleast attach a protected first, if we were trying to trade Reke for WCS. Reke for Skal could be possible and I'd be thrilled with that deal.
Everyone who is pro-reke are looking at his numbers when he plays not how he fits. Unfortunately for those fans the people who really know basketball( other teams coaches and GMs) only see how he really fits so we are stuck with a negative asset.
Like you said rose sells tickets because he once was great so people hope he can return to that. Tyreke was never great. Stat sheet filler at times , but that's it.
Even with teams knowing that we don't want him, you'd think that Tyreke was somebody you could give away. He can help a team, it's just not a good fit here. Not encouraging seeing David post that just giving him away would be a victory - is that what you think, or what you are hearing? He's worth 'something' I just have no idea what in this environment
Tyreke and a top 3 protected 1st for WCS, do u do it?
