No i made a mistake my bad, I forgot i listed rose, i thought i listed stephen curry and jrue holliday, my bad. But ya rivers was nasty at dunks in high school, one time he even did a 360, and one time he posterized a guy with a tomahawk too.

Certainly can, use to dunk at Maryland a bit and has the odd fast break dunk in NBA games too.

Rivers is still young, i think when he puts on some weight in a couple years w some strength we will see him dunk on quite a few people. by no means a dunker, but he will give u a couple surprises along the way. remember when cp3 dunked on dwight? lol

Rose: vert 40" lane agility 11.69 court sprint 3.05 wow thought rose's lane agility would be way lower

Anyways Gordon pretty much destroys everybody. Especially in the 3/4 court sprint, wow.

Rivers has a long neck. It gives him a lot of height. But it means his shoulders are a bit lower than other people as tall as him. I bet you Chris Bosh has a similarly ridiculously low standing reach compared to other 6'10" guys.

How do you guys feel if we trade down for Rudy Gobert in late 1st round ?

So Todd McShay was on Mike and Mike this morning mostly to talk about Geno Smith but he brought up a random comparison to Shabazz while talking about Geno's supposed "character issues" (he does the NBA combine and way more NBA stuff than people realize).

He said that one unnamed NBA GM wouldn't take Bazz with the top 60 picks, while some think he's worth a shot in the TOP 10.

Top 10 people. I'm thinking that Bazz might drop quite a bit.

I wonder how much People like him know about these kids. Remember last year everyone said Rivers was a selfish chucker, and we see that was not the case. If Bazz is there I would take the chance

Man if we take Shabazz it will almost be like getting Rivers all over again. Similar hype coming out of HS, supposed attitude problems, considered overrated, lack luster college play, wealthy families etc. but just like AR he has upside and a fire that could eventually bring it all together. Heck I even think a GM or someone said something similar about Austin last year.

It's quite mirrored how similar they are save for the father in the NBA thing and Shabazz's jumper doesn't have mechanical issues.

It's why I'm not worried about if we take him. But if things stand as they are, we won't even get to take him.

Apples and Oranges imo. Drummond was a big man who take much longer to develop. Drummond didn't have an overbearing father. Drummond was a freak in term of measurables. Shabazz is not some freak of nature. I would have had no problem taking Drummond #2 overall.

I wouldn't take it for more than a grain of salt right now. It's clearly an over reaction of what he's read in the media. He most likely has never met Muhammad nor has he ever worked him out so his opinions are clearly biased at the moment.

We and everyone else will know more about Muhammad once he actually meets with NBA personnel and they get a better feel for who he is and what he's about.

To be fair, there were a couple of rumors about Drummond predraft calling him lazy and lacking basketball IQ. Feels like a lot of teams passed up on him because of what they read about him. It all refuted when the pistons actually met with him and worked him out. The Pistons staff was surprised what they found out about Drummond when they met with him. Met with him twice and eventually drafted him.

This just shows you that you need to do your own research rather than relying on the media for information.

Steven Adams declared today, he probably should have stayed another year or two as he is quite raw but is leaving due to support family. If we could get a second pick in the early 20's he is well worth a pick as the potential is huge. I could imagine Chicago + Memphis being a team who may sell there pick to avoid luxury tax.

Its definitely bad advice, he has potential to go top 10 if he stays another year or two but its pressure from his family - he has 18 sibblings and there father passed away a few years back.

Sucks for Adams because another year or two and he's lottery potential. Nothing stood out about him last season but he came in as the top incoming Big East recruit in the preseason and dissapointed Pitt.

Adams will go in the 1st. This time last year people were saying he would be a top 15 pick THIS year. He will be a lock for the first, but where who knows. The combine, as well as personal workouts are where he will have to shine, but being a mobile 7ft player is something attractive to most gm's.

If we could land a 2nd round pick I would like to get my hands on Brandon Davies. He has a good game vs Baylors big men. He will probably get picked up by the Spurs or Nuggets, but that kid had a great season, and an even better season playing next to Jimmer. Since then he hasn't played with any NBA talent and he can't keep the ship afloat with a bunch of In and Out employees for teammates.
