Jrue would have been such a good player if he sticks to his strengths and doesn't force things..

Why did Zion only play 5 minutes in the third quarter? Mysterious.

It's so weird with Jrue.. Before joining you guys here and becoming a Pelican fan, I always thought very highly of him.. Thought you guys were a little too hard on him. Now I get it.. Not sure I've seen a player play at such a high level, and low level at the same time before now lol..

It's been a weird season for him. By far his worst season in the last 3 years. Both of last 2 years he was waaaaay better than this.

It’s unbelievably frustrating. He’s incredible and SOOOOO BAD at the same time.

I've said this before, Jrue and Ingram.. our two best players can't lead the team in turnovers.. They just can't.

I hate Moore iso-ball so much. Even when he scores, he leaves so much on the table.

Like right there. Misses Zion on the roll, then backs it out and misses Melli wide open in the corner, and settles for the contested fadeaway midranger. Yes, he hit the shot, but it's still the least desirable of all the shots that were available.

I think Harden is my least favorite player in the league. So damn annoying how he is always saying something to the refs even though he gets the best treatment by them by far

They are playing like a bunch of people who see each other for the first time in their lives. If this team is serious about playoffs push this type of performance is unacceptable, but nobody can get their act together. What on earth is happening? How can you be so lackadaisical for 48 minutes?

This team sucks at recognising interior mismatches, and even when they do recognise them, they suck at entry passes. It's infuriating.

We go possession after possession after possession without Zion even touching the ball.

Annoys me when I see a 1 on 1 fastbreak and no one from our team is sprinting for clean up.

Also annoys me when the person running that break doesn't seem to recognise that slamming on the brakes to lose your man is sometimes better than trying to force up an awkward, leaning circus shot.

Happens a lot. Often with Hart, actually; seems to be a thing with him.

I keep going back to it, because we've already shown in the past that it's something that the team can do.

But in preseason, we (famously, it got tons of coverage) ran some cool blade sets and dual screening actions for Zion. They got him the ball when he was already going downhill, and cleared space in the paint. He scored off them very easily, and made some nice passes off them too.

Since he's come back (now 6 games ago) we have not run a single one of those actions. Not once.

Why?

I feel like Zion could come back in. He didn't look to be sweating all that hard.

Too many TOs and missed easy baskets.....now they're outworking us.

Still in reach, though.

So sick of Jrue's low-IQ game. So frustrating. Too inconsistent.

Makes no sense.. Ingram is also a much better player when you get him the rock on the move off of curls and off-ball screens.

Iso ball is fine at times but what we're seeing now is excessive.
