We're the 4th seed in the West.
Diallo is absolutely going to create a Marcin Gortat situation for us. A guy that develops into something way too good to be a back up getting 5-10 minutes a game behind superstars.
This time next season he is going to have every GM taking notice with the way he is growing. He is a fairly perfect modern small ball big that pretty much any team could use if he develops some more.
I’m very pleased with this team.
I'm proud of our guys. Yes, it took us a few games to get it together after Boogie went down but we're doing everything we should right now. We're killing it.
Killing right into the 4 seed now!
Would be crazy to have all this happen with Boogie going down and end up with a home field advantage for a series.
Makes you think this team very well would of had the third seed on lock if Cousins hadn't gone down.
Pels are having fun and playing loose and aggressive which spells danger for the rest of the western conference. I want a 10 game win streak!
I agree he may sign for less to win...
For real tho, he is ecstatic to be in New Orleans.
Great win and nice effort to make this 8W! Now its time for big test - We Will need Emeka presence inside to slow Da Jordan. Good game coming up.... Hope Okafor will be ready.
I have the pelicans in the 3rd seed by Wednesday night after a win over Sacramento
That Guy Lemon should play 5 minutes or less in games vs serious competition. Rondo or Jrue should always be on the floor or let moore or ian clark handle the ball. because Im not sure i trust that lemon kid just yet in big games
I have been saying for a while now he can change this franchise. He will no doubt be a very good asset and trade chip for us. He won't be able to provide the type of impact next year as our 4th big as we could bring back in a trade for him. When you look at what some very good players get traded for we will absolutely have enough to land stud with Diallo. This kid has all the abilities you can't teach and everything he needs to improve on is teachable.
Did Diallo pull a Mailman dunk? And did Lemon Jr. dunk on someone? How did i miss that? Stupid Oscars I don't even like.
Yeah, that looks to be his fate at the moment...which is a shame, because I've been a fan of his for a while. But that's what happens when you have two elite bigs, and Mirotic coming off the bench. The faster Diallo develops, the faster his trade value increases.
I couldn't watch this game but it seemed like a good win for us.
4th seed yooooooooooooo.
If we win against the Clippers I will be hyped!
The more Diallo plays well, the less Davis plays. This is good for minutes purposes. I loved what Cheick brought to the table today.
Good to see Niko getting his stroke back. Dude was lights out.
Have I mentioned that Jrue is earning his contract day in and day out?
Ian Clark is turning out to be a lights out mid range shooter. More mid range please.
I like Walter Lemon. You can tell he has good moves, and good instincts. He just needs to focus on finishing his chances.
Clippers are going to be without Beverly and Gallinari? We should beat them. No excuses. Jrue will bully Rivers. Brooklyn is about to beat the clippers right now. That will be good for us. We need to get more separation now!

This team is playing team first basketball and when it gets to crunch time. Our stars Ad and Jrue take over. We have good shooters in Niko,Miller,Clark and slasher/scorer in Etwaan. Our rim protectors are AD,okafor and diallo. I like the identity we have right now. we can go far with this identity
We need to talk more about that Diallo dunk. It should be a top 10 play tonight.
I would keep Diallo as long as humanly possible. He is cheap, and his next contract won’t be anywhere as close as Niko’s, so you can afford to keep both, and given our bigs injury history keeping him here would prove smart and savvy. He will start a handful of games each season, and be called on to give Boogie a rest when he is coming back from his injury.
It just makes sense to keep both he and Niko.
Diallo is proving himself.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing Diallo play like that... He's fun to watch and plays with a ton of energy... He's starting to figure out his defense.
BTW... where was Okafor yesterday? Giving him rest because we had an advantage on the boards or what? Happy to see Diallo get those minutes, just want to be sure Meka is still rock solid.
