MLE so 4.5. He's gotten me twice with the same offer lol. Don't fret about not overpaying. I actually overpaid Eric Snow on his resigning period and it was like 5 mill, and I regretted it so much. Don't skim on those franchise guys like francis, but there's TONS of value out there for guys you can get for half the price. For instance, look at the deal the rapts got for Peja compared to VC (who's deal was considered a value). I had Peja rated the same. Just have to have a strategy and I think you will. there's A LOT of good players out there still.

Yea I initially offered Peja during first round starting 8 mil for 3 seasons, but I withdrew the offer, because I had a change of heart on who I wanted to add. I really want Daniels though. He was going to be my 6th man playing backup PG and SG.

Peja would have been pretty good for ya man. I can't access the site right now, but with Prince and Francis you could use some scoring at the expense of D if you had to. Francis will lead ya pretty far if you get him maybe 1 more scorer and defenders (I think).

I still think the Wiz and Blazers should make a deal involving. McDyess won't max out his potential and salary worth next to Kobe and Grant Hill. He needs to get more touches. The Wiz need to spread out some of his salary for more depth.

Yea that was my initial thought process. I hate to bench Prince, but, again I need someone to score. I'll be in the 80s all season at this rate. It was a moot point, because I wasn't willing to go 5 years with Peja.

He'll only be 32 and I have found lately that guys don't seem to age too badly in this league. The only one I can think of that's has dropped off a bit is Ray Allen. Stackhouse is much better now then when I had him at like 26,27.

Plus it's only a 5% increase so the final year should only be about 9.7. Doubt he will lose his shooting touch by then.

Good pickup, he seems to have improved upon his turnovers drastically over the years. Just wouldn't use him as a first scoring option.

Sound, that is going to be my dilemma, how to decide who gets the 1st option between he bosh and bibby. Last season Bosh was #1 the entire year, but I think he was too young to be the #1 guy, so this season i was thinking about at least starting the year off having Bibby at 1 and bosh at 2. But getting stack makes my decision harder.

I typically don't like to use my point guard as a first or second option so they can distribute the ball more. (Unless he truly is a stud).

Stack is an awesome option, just when I had him (years ago) I had to keep him as option 2 because of his turnovers. He seems to have improved since then, especially since BSH spent $50 on his ball Handling.

I offered 3 years as well, but lower per year. I had more holes to fill.

I agree with Sound about having PGs being a third option especially if you have capable first and second options. Hell I had Gary Payton as my third option behind Webber and Jones and he still avg'd around 18 a game and close to 9 assists.

Last year I was experimenting with Francis at 1, 2, and 3. I think the supporting casts makes it very difficult to not ride Francis at 1 or 2 all season.
