I agree. Especially when two of them have the potential to be really good defenders.

This pretty much sums up what I have to say. I also agree that we would have 3 players who are best with the ball in their hands and it would take them awhile to gel together, but in Demps I trust. Man, I want Iggy at the 3 so damn bad though and there's no way we land both Evans and Iggy without moving Gordon (I'm one of the few who don't want him to go yet).
I wish I knew if we wanted to keep Gordon or not
What's the most sacremento would probably match at? What is a good offer from the pelicans for this guy?
Honestly, we might even get him for less. The Kings don't intend to sign him back. But if we got him at that price, I'd be happy. I'd even give him a 4th year at that price because I think he's about worth that money now and projecting forward, I think he could be a steal at that price.
Also. Does the fact that we have the meeting at Midnight make it seem we are his first choice without here the money being offered. Now if someone blows us out the water with money, obviously he couldn't care less about Nola. lol
Tyreke has the size and strength to guard SFs he'd have to buy into more of a differing role. Which might be about the same as asking JR Smith to. Monty has got to believe he can get Tyreke to buy into defense though.
our backup plan could be to cut lopez, sign tyreke, and a guy like webster, and then use the exception to sign a big like dalembert
webster starting at sf...tyreke as a main backup and insurance policy??
So would you rather Iggy or Evans? Might not end up with either but we can't have both.
Evans has the lateral quickness to be an elite wing defender, but he has yet to show the interest. All of his metrics were bad: The Kings gave up 3.3 more points per 100 possessions with him on the court, opposing wingers had a 16.5 PER against him, according to 82games.com, and Synergy put him a bit below the league average. He finished in the top quarter of shooting guards in steals and blocks, but his fundamentals remain limited.

Maybe we are going to trade Eric Gordon for Alex Len :3 :3 and play Tyreke at the 2 and sign Iggy
Evans will bring in tickets. Fans love excitement and with his handles fan should love to see him.
well we wanted to meet with someone at midnight...and iggy is meeting with denver...a lot of the backup plans are not worth meeting early...so this could be our only option of meeting a guy this early(if we are interested, this gives us a favorable impression in the eyes of tyreke
for those curious... tyreke & iggy are both 6'6", kevin martin the tallest of the 3 at 6'7"
AFA was 6'10"... average height for SF is about 6'8"
and for those who think he is a sg...no he is not..can't shoot well enough...is only "position" has to be sf
I'm torn between Evans and Iggy. Either way I want our backup 3 to be Aminu. Because if Gordon goes down, I don't want Rivers starting. At least with Aminu, Iggy or Evans could slide over to SG.
Evans will be cheaper and younger, and can grow with the team. We could keep Smith and Lopez and Vasquez for that matter with Evans.
Leaning towards evans, but Iggy is so enticing because he is proven on both ends of the floor.
