Exactly... No matter what he would be an upgrade at SF, I don't think anyone would argue that (but I've been wrong before)... What would we give up for him though? It would be really counterproductive to involve Gordon, but would we give up our draft pick for him?

I think Philly will ask for our 2013 draft pick if we make a move for him... Don't want to give this one.
I still don't understand Philly... the guy is a rare talent to me even though he is not very athletic.

I agree... I'd give up our pick for him, we have enough 20 year olds already. I'd like another young vet at SF, and then go after big Pek in free agency. We'd have a great future setup.

I'd look at trading our first for Turner. He's a jack of all trades, but does nothing fantastic. Rebounds, defends, shoots the ball and makes plays. Would do really well at our 3.

He is a fantastic ball handler and passer and we could use him as a point forward incase McLemore does fall to us we wouldn't have to worry about putting gordon at pg, same for shabazz if he is there, I'd love it

Except that he's not. Aminu has out played turner in a lot of ways and has a higher PER. I think too many people see Turner for what they think he is than what he really is. His salary is approaching Ariza territory but not as good.

Based on PER, Aminu may be the better player.
Turner will never be a defensive force like Aminu, but he could bring many possibilities to our offense like shooting, play-making. He is also a pretty good rebounder. Moreover, Turner is still a young player and will improve.
I think we have to consider him because he is available and we could get him without giving up too many assets for the future. What do you think?

His passing and scoring ability would open up our offense alot. I think he would fit on our team perfectly. Our defense and rebounding would take a hit. But I believe he would be a great addition to our team, not enough to do anything too drastic to get him. I don't think our 1st would be too much for him, Turner and Chief would turn our weakest position into a strength.

Aminu is a one deminsional (exceptional) athlete. Turner is not. Turner handles the ball, shoots the threes and gets assists. Its as simple as that in my opinion, but everyone has one.

Turner may be better shooting the 3 than Aminu but that's not saying much. He made only 14 3s all season. Not impressive at all. He doesn't really stretch the floor. Turner handles the ball but he needs the ball in his hands to be effective. He turns it over at a high rate for someone needs the ball in his hands. That's not something you want to see out of your wing... especially on a team with Gordon.

Is he better than Aminu? In certain aspects. Offensively.. Yes. But I don't see him as a long term solution.

I never said he wasn't an upgrade. I agreed that he was better than Aminu offensively. I just don't think he's the answer.

That's seems like an ideal situation. But what would we have to give up to make that happen? Would x and our first suffice ya think?
