I strongly dislike the idea of Oladipo playing off of Gordon. Victor is a guy who'll mostly need a true PG finding him to max his offensive production.
I don't think Oladipo will have nearly the offensive impact in the NBA that he does in college. He really takes what's given to him and doesn't do much else.
Im curious to see how GR3 does. Hes a top 8 talent who has basically lacked any killer instinct whatsoever up till this point. Lets see if he can keep up his good form as of late. As for Burke; i already know what he can do.
the oddest thing is that was exactly what his strengths were coming into the league. Anyways while I know shooting can be improved it's not as easy as you are making sound as if it just comes naturally. With many it unfortunately doesn't. And with some coaches they would rather work on strengths the player has and leave the basics alone. Hate to use the Aminh example because I don't feel they are comparable at all, but Aminu has about the funkiest jump shot. Has no coach tried to change his shot yet because it's ridiculous.
Word is Shane Larkin may be leaving Miami and enter the Draft. I don't know his draft value, but I think he'd be a great fit for us. Quick, great court vision and can shoot when needed. Any takers maybe?
I'd take him. He's a younger more skilled Roberts.
Late first probably.
Man I don't get what is mclemores problem. Every time he gets the ball. Unless he's open for the 3 he passes it right away man. The other 3 guards take it to the hole and create their own shot. It gets me so dam upset man!!! I see the potential for the greatness but it's like he's almost not into the game or has no confidence. Almost plays scared at times man I swear. Burke on the other hand tho is a dam beast!!!! He wants the ball and creates his own shot at will. Super tough kid that can shoot the 3 as well but does everything else well also. Mclemore is playing better now but it's still open 3s or a break away dunk. I need to see more from him in the big lights.
Mclemores lighting it up from 3..his shot is something of beauty!! I just wanna see him attack off the dribble more that's all.
Man michigan Kansas game is crazy!!! Burke is a warrior!! Win or lose he is a dam good ball player and will be awesome in the nba.
Burke holy god
Oh my god!!!!!!! TREY MOTHERFRIGGIN BURKE!!!!!!!! R U KIDDING ME!!!!!!!
That was a awful shot, but still. Wow.
Holy ish!!!!!!!!!!! Did I just witness this????? Oh my god!!!!!!!
Wow!
Insane.
Give me TREY BURKEEEEE!!!!! That was one of the clutchest comebacks and shot by a player I've ever seen
That is just insane!!!!!! The boy Burke is climbing draft boards as we speak!!!! I bet this dude goes top 5. I don't see 5 players u take in front him. Just no way.
BOOOOOOOM!!!!
Twitter just assploded
Wouldn't mind Burke at all if Porters gone
Hahahahahaha oh my goodness!!!!! Was up man? Remember we was saying this is a must watch baby!!!!!!! The boy Burke is the truth!!!! I love the shot cause he had long armed Johnson on him. If he didn't pull up to shoot he would of had to force up a bad shot with young all over him. Not Johnson young I meant.
I've been on the Burke bandwagon since the beginning of last year. He has so much heart and will you couple that with his talent and you have something special.
Dude is beasting!!!! This kid is the dam truth!!!!! He is all about the big time!! I want that kid on my teAm. 1st pick or 10th pick. He is clutch and has ice water in his veins!!!
Not sure UM can pull this out though they used a lot of energy.
Wow burke
Just cause it was that far away doesn't make it a bad shot either. He spotted up and shot it like a normal jumpshot. Young had switched and was guarding him. If he didn't spot up immediately like that then he would of wound up throwing up a bad shot with youngs long azz all over him. Kid has range and knows he does. It was a good shot make or miss considering the circumstances.
Mitch Mcgary
It was bad shot selection.
This will go down as 1 of the greatest comebacks in NCAA history during the tournament. Classic game we are witnessing here.
None of that really matters. Might be overused and corny to say it, but "big time players make big time plays". He's usually shoots well beyond the college three line anyway so he had the confidence to pull the trigger. He had good form and his legs split on the way down due to the defender running into him. Well after the shot was gone.
To bad Andre Dawkins was red shirted and unable to play for Duke. He's a complete beast and no doubt IMO a top 3 player on Duke squad, you guys would love em I bet. Why is he a red shirt? IDK
All I'm getting at is I know exactly why he decided to shoot that right then. 1st thing is he is def the one who was taking the last shot. 2nd when young who is very long switched on him he recognized that and immediately dribbled a few feet n squared up and nailed it. Young was coming over n he knew it. If he hadn't shot that he would of dribbled closer to young and got a. More contested n possibly blocked shot. I think if he had a guard on him he would of gotten closer but with young coming at him n only a few seconds left I think he did the right thing.
What was that??? Sheesh talk about a bad shot selection lol
Hail to the Victors!
Trey Burke is the truth!
Johnson could of took that str8 to the hoop??? Also why did mclemore not get the ball??? Kansas folded.
Hail to the Victors!!!!
