Hindsight works like that. Don't worry, we only keep a draft pick long term if they're a top 5 pick so it would be like this anyway.

Cut Bass? Is this the NFL? And the worst coach ever doesn't guide a team to the NBA finals consecutive years. Then came here and led another franchise a game away from the western conference finals.

No matter ones opinion the man has had success as an NBA for more than one team. Worst coach ever? That would be Dunleavy maybe.

So I just went through the list of free agents still out there that we might be able to snag. Here's some of the names that stood out to me. This is based off NBA.com so sorry if the person already signed.

Arron Afflalo, Raymond Felton, Gerald Green, Gerald Henderson, Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, Thabo Sefolosha

Definitely not the cream of the crop but still some names I wouldn't mind for the right price.

Ya, Nets have been playing that game the last couple years. I agree that they are just trying to put other teams in bad cap positions.

I'd take Afflalo or Green. I don't want Jennings or Lawson with their issue. Sefolosha's lost a step or two IMO

Troy Daniels is a guy I've really pinpointed. He's not a free agent but should fit into our TPE and seems to be on the outside looking in with Memphis after they picked up McLemore and Tyreke

I would take that deal in a heartbeat! I am starting to think that is the trade that will happen. I like Bledsoe better, but Linsanity would be nice addition.

If the Nets get KCP Lin doesn't make sense on their roster, to me. They don't have to move him, but if they can get a pick I don't see why they'd say no

I'd probably go with either Gerald as my top targets. Need guys who can play SF and aren't undersized. Henderson is borderline undersized.

Mozgov and Asik would be a hard pill to swallow. Lin probably not worth the 1st. with the West so brutal that 1st is looking like a lotto pick. May as well keep it and just sell Boogie on the 'one piece away' story.

It'd probably be Ajinca + QPon + 1st for Lin - 2018 1st isn't worth anything to sell to Boogie but Lin in this offense is

Maybe? Lin is a known quantity and while thats reassuring in the short term its problematic long term. We resign Boogie then next offseason we have to resign Lin. At some point you have to balance the roster with some cheap deal on players who can produce a bit, like, lotto picks!

I wouldn't be sad if we traded for Lin, but I'm not convinced its enough to make playoffs either. West is so hard and injuries will end up being a factor and thats anyones guess.

I agree. I don't believe Jeremy Lin moves the needle for us. If we're not going to make a trade for an Eric Bledsoe or Jae Crowder then we should have gave real consideration to going after Rudy Gay or Tim Hardaway, Jr.

I wouldn't mind Green and Lawson on the cheap. They're gonna be bottom of the bench guys so I wouldn't pay them a lot, say league min or slightly above. As for Lin never really been a big fan

until i see a move in the future,,,i dont believe dell pulled the nick young offer......im going with young signed with GS because of KD and green recruiting him for a chance to win a ring and him giving GS 4 of the top 9 players in effective FG pct on catch and shoot plays last season and the offense they run will help nick 3pt pct and FG pct over all this season to get him a bigger contract next year from someone with money to throw......

I like how teams are over spending. They are gonna have to move some good players to get under the cap and we can be that team. Stanley Johnson in Detroit would be someone I'd like to target along with Mudiay and Lyles in Denver. As you can see there isn't many older players I want. lol

I don't believe Madison nor MM. MM "reported" that Dell has been after Swaggy and Jamal Crawford for years and all of the sudden he pulls on the deal with Swaggy and hasn't made a play for Crawford. Also, when has Dell not been conservative and gamble as well as not locking up a good shooter who can play multiple positions (which is what Dell has said he wanted this season). Either he has bad sources or he's full of BS. My guess is a bit of both. Madison has been speaking this trade thing for about a week and nothing has happened.

We'll see. MM has been saying that the moves we make this weekend will make us a sure fire playoff team in all the pundits eyes. He said he was so confident that he put $1000 on the Pels to make playoffs. Now he is floating Reggie Jackson as a potential target. That certainly is not a needle mover, but more of a desperation move if that were to happen.

For freaking sakes, Dell. Effing do something.
