Yabusele had -according to Dawson-fine workout.
He is 6'8" 260 pound. Can shoot a 3's.
It is good that Ferry is at the workout.

Pelicans twitter also updating hourly.
Man, these guys have been coached up on their interviews well. Not to say they don't mean what they are saying, but I am very impressed with their responses.
Jamal Murray hit 79 of 100 3’s in Boston last week. Buddy Hield, per source, hit 85 of 100 in front of Celtics brass today in California.

Ten more days. Just ten more days...
Is Hield going to be better than Beal?
What are y'alls thoughts on the the following Euro wings?
Isaia Cordinier
Rade Zagorac
Paul Zipser
I'm a pretty big fan of all of them, but I think Zagorac is my favorite. Cordinier probably has the highest ceiling. Zipser might be the most ready.
I think I prefer Zipser because his shooting is more consistent than Zagorac's, but a strong argument for both of them can be made given Zagorac's age. Regarding Cordinier, I'm not a fan. I like that he knows how to play effectively off the ball (quality really important in move the ball system like ours) but he's not a really good shooter. he's still very young but I don't see him becoming a good role player in the NBA.
Zipser is the truth
I read a lot of mock drafts and recently this article: http://hoopshype.com/2016/05/30/1999...uld-have-been/ And I was thinking: It's so obvious, to anyone who knows at least a little of Eurobasket, players like: Korkmaz, Hernangomez, Zizic, Yabusele, Zagorac, Papagiannis, Arapovic, Guduric will be very good or maybe great NBA's players. It's like when NBA's teams took Marc Gasol at #43 and Manu Ginobili at #57.
According to mocks and articles about 30-40 players every year will be good/great NBA players...
prospects and their unknown future
not saying that they might not be great players :)
Add to this list Luwawu
Check out most mock drafts and they have Marquese Chriss in their top 5. Is he really going that high, or are these mock drafts just reaching? I am unfamiliar with his game, so preach on.
Chriss is just shooting up draft boards lately
Bold prediction: Deyonta Davis has a better career than Chriss. If Pels trade down, that's the guy I want
I'm pretty sold on the following draft:
#6 Buddy Hield
#39 Pascal Siakam
#40 Wayne Selden
Honorable mentions: 1st Rnd: Jamal Murray, Marquese Chriss. 2nd Rnd: AJ Hammonds, Thon Maker, Gary Payton II, Patrick McCaw, Isaia Cordiner and Ben Bentil
Really intrigued with these 2nd round picks. I feel like we should get one solid role player/specialist there who'll make the rotation.
Davis/Prince would be a nice little draft if we trade back too. Could build a monster defensive front court
Why is Chriss shooting up the boards? He is a pf, so it's not like we need him, but is the pf market that bad that he is considered a top prospect?
Side note: UW has been pumping out some wild talent since Romar took over.
I like Prince. I see a lot of Josh Howard in him. He would be my pick if we were to somehow secure a mid first.
Deyonta Davis. Just watched a little bit of him and he's quite a glass eater.

10 minute film on Dragan Bender
Not a scouting video, but still nice watching.
MM what's your take on Ben Bentil? It's killing me why this dude is being overlooked.
Marquis Criss is growing on me been watching highlights and game tape I can see why he's moving up .

I had a draft dream...
1. simmons
2. ingram
3. chriss
4. brown
5. bender
:)
fingers crossed...
I know it's might be a stretch but it would be awesome to have two 1st round picks. I would like to get a big and a guard both with size and a 3 point shot.
David Lock (who annoys me to no end, but whos opinion I can respect) has Davis pegged as another Derrick Favors. I don't see the Jazz taking him (not with having Favors and just drafting Lyles), but I can see the comparison, and what you are saying. Throw in the fact that he played a big part in a Tom Izzo team, and I think he could be as good a get as you will find in the draft.
What does anyone know about Pascal Siakam?
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/...-Siakam-87577/
Recent write up from 9th June is pretty good background. He measures well, runs well, youtube him theres a 3 or so minute highlight vid, seems to play with quite good aggression.
Isaiah Whitehead, SG from Seton Hall will visit NO on Tuesday.
Projected to be in the second round. Mostly around 50-60.
According to The Vertical - Malachi Richardson received the promise from MEM at 17th. If he will be there - they will take him.
Also at 22 Hornets fell in love in Malcolm Brogdon?
why this is important - because the draft is so fluid, that we can even get a Brice Johnson/Bembry type at 39...
Or Physicist :)
I kind of really like this draft.
Me to. Hopefully I will still like this draft when it will finish...
Hopefully with Pels at 6.
Today there will be probably last pre-draft workout in NO.
Isaiah Whitehead (SG, 6'5'') and Ryan Arcidiacono (PG - projected as undrafted) are expected.
Apart from J.Murray and Brown who visited NO; Dunn and Hield had 'combined' workouts, prospects expected in the 2nd round by positions were:
PG - Ferrell, Payton, Dejounte Murray (out of our range) (Arcidiacono)
SG - Mc Clellan, Walkup, Cordiner, Cousins, Selden (Whitehead)
SF - Ellis, T. Williams, Gbinije, Layman
PF - Ibeh, Yabusele
C - Tarczewski
so basically we might be looking for a PG, SG and SF. not a big surprise apart from PG.
Curious what Dell will do with our own PG and SF. Frazier and Ennis, who are RFA. Probably Dell will wait for the market to dictate the price...
Why would we want to move away from Frazier unless it's to bring in a guy to move Jrue, or compete with Jrue? Frazier has that #2 spot locked up, so drafting a pg (unless for the two reasons mentioned above) seems like a waste. Draft 3 SFs and pray one of them works out.
I want to lock Frazier in NO.
Was just surpised that we have workouts for so many PG's...
We have Douglas as well
For the most part it looks like a lot of the point guards they worked out are a little bigger - gentry's system likes having guys that can play and guard multiple positions. I love Frazier and i agree he should be the backup PG but by Gentry's model he may want a bigger guy to run the point (but if that's the case why not just let Tyreke be your 6th man?)
I don't see PG as a glaring need here, focus on wings and a backup PF or a raw, high upside C in the 2nd round
I keep hearing great things about Dunn, Murray, Hield, and Brown.
2 days!

usually Woj knows earlier - it might be smart to check Yahoo sports' stream
agree
but this time he decided to have his own show...
Damian Jones. If we acquired another 1st, there's an interesting prospect.
Also a victim of nepotism being from Baton Rouge and all..
I'm just reading Phoenix is shopping picks 4 and 13 for Gordon Hayward.
Is there any chance Pelicans can make a trade for picks 4 & 13?
