It's weird to see people invest so much into it. He's a lotto ticket. He'll probably never be a huge difference maker again. But maybe he can become FroLo light, and that would be great for us on $3 Mil a year. No reason to get downtrodden if he doesn't sign, no reason to hoist a trophy if he does. He seems like a good dude, and I hope he makes the decision where he can be healthy and happy. If you don't want to follow it closely then don't, no reason to get all grouchy.

So he's made his decision, but won't announce it yet. For someone that does not like to be in the spotlight, he sure is making it seem contrary to that belief. Watch it be totally untrue that he doesn't like the spot light and will postpone it till the Riley Cooper controversy dies down...lol j/k

This is the norm. If there were still 100 free agents out there like on July 1st, nobody would even know about it or care.

Tell other teams and the team you agreed to join. Announce it after that. Professional IMO.

I think he wants to thank all the other teams that had interest. That's a classy move and it also keeps him in the mix in case he's on the market again. he may be re-visiting this process.
