This was a game where they needed that spark from Jrue. Eric did what he could from deep. Really hope he can play and play well Thursday.
I don't care what anyone says, I'm proud of this team's effort. Just couldn't close on it in the end. We pushed them hard on their home court, and didn't give in after that early 4th quarter run by the Warriors. We're watching this team mature.
The play I'll take from this one is the block by Cunningham on the fast break that resulted in Cole's 'and-1' opportunity on the end of it.
Monty did the best he could do with the options he was giving. Anderson has completely forgotten how to play basketball, this stage is too big for Ajinca...Asik gave us good minutes but really didn't make a difference out there. Tyreke basically playing on one leg, jrue hurt, and AD playing 40 plus minutes. We literally ran out of gas
we would of won if monty williams wasn't the coach, anyone else could of coached better tonight
seriously OA needs to loose weight in the offseason, he was an amazing shotblocker when his body was gobertlite. there were many instances in n this season where he was there to contest jumpshots but not enough lift to disturb shooters
Too much Cunningham and Cole late. Should have had Ryno and Pondexter. Offense collapsed since very little spacing. Blown opportunity.

First off, proud of this team for hanging with them for 44-45 minutes. BUT, Evans must stop playing hero ball. There were several fast break attempts where he would not give up the ball for the easy basket. We got lucky and he got fouled, AND he missed his FT's. The dude is banged up and needs to pass it to his teammates to A get the easy dunk and B save his body.
Eric Gordon needs a trade...
Monty screwed up in the 4th. Stuck with Cunningham and Cole too long and the offense suffered because of it. Even if Ryno isn't making his shot, his presence on the floor still opens up the lane for Davis and Evans. Same with Pondexter.

This game was a blown opportunity.

That wasnt by accident. Hes toast. He has value because theoretically he can hit threes but it wont be long before people stop respecting that. But beyond that, he just doesnt play smart basketball anymore. He'll continue to get opportunities because frankly we dont have a choice but his spot in the rotation should depend on game, situation, and his play. He deserved where he was tonight.
God, I miss Peja.
Look at the box score, Pondexter 1 for 8 and 3 points in 32 minutes. Pondexter, Asik, and Cunningham with 7 points in 74 minutes. Anderson didn't shoot well in the first half but 4 points in 9 minutes is much better than the scoring the others gave. And Anderson takes the big man guarding him out of the paint. I put this loss solely on Monty Williams.
Just watched the last art again, qpon should have been in for D
benching Anderson was the right move. He needs to know that you cant play like that and continue to get minutes.
