He can only play when he's in the game... if anything positive come out of Nance injury, maybe its Jax earning back a little trust
Like I said, thinking they had a chance in this game was just unnecessary brain damage. Was going to be difficult even if not on a b2b.
This is the type team you need BI for. He's feasted on Dillon Brooks plenty in the past. The grizzlies dont have an answer for a perimeter oriented player like BI.
They are built to handle Zion tho.
story out recently predicting he'd play against the Rockets :fingerscrossed:
They get to do this again next weekend. Another road b2b in Dallas.
If the NBA is going to do this, it shouldn't waste important divisional games like that.
New Orleans/Memphis and New Orleans/Dallas are showcase games.
Even if BI is back I highly doubt he plays in that game against Dallas.
It's a lower body injury so I can understand an abundance of caution. If it's something structural though - for example, if it is turf toe - then that would have been nice to be told rather than being told it's a contusion which is typically not a big deal and doesn't take you out 20+ games at a time.
Attack the person instead of tackling the argument
Classic smol brain move
My act? Mans was throwing around the term brain damage like it was going out of fashion
If you had anyone close to you with a degenerative, cognitive disease, you might have a shred of empathy
I actually envy you both with your utter, oblivious ignorance. Must be bliss.
It will probably never happen, but the NBA needs to keep its mid October - April regular season. But move to 72 games. Eliminate all b2b games. Or only the home team has them, never the traveling team.
Quality over quantity.
Yeah traveling on a b2b is pretty rough. Kind of feels like they could avoid that if they really made a point of it.
There was an interview done the other day, and it seemed almost like more of a confidence issue on BI's part. He said some days it recovers well, other days not. And he doesn't want to play until its 100%.
Read the replies that go along with this tweet.
Brandon Ingram was asked how close he is to returning: "It?s hard to tell. Some days I feel really, really good, and the recovery is bad. Some days, recovery is good. Whenever I feel 100%, I?ll give it a go. But it?s hard to say right now."

This just in
Turf toe is worse than a complete achillies rupture
I mean, Durant had a shorter recovery time than BI, who is now AD levels of glass man bad
Oh My Goodness!!! 9 Turnovers?
Oh My Goodness # 2!!! A -27 Point Differential?
Minus the 1st time we played them Steven Adams becomes a monster when he plays us while Val seems to always struggle against his former team.
With all the fighting in this message board you would think that the team is playing like a lottery team...
Pelicans players: One of the best team chemistry out there.
Pelicans fans: acting like its Twilight with team Edward/Zion vs Team Jacob/BI
I've been consistently posting here for years and years, through all the dark days. I could easily necro bump the threads
I could pull up threads where it's just me and Pelicandae posting exclusively, even though we were losing horribly. We are the OGs
Now we have a bit of success, they all come out of the woodwork
Really grinds your gears
I don't like you luckyman. I think you are arrogant, condescending, ignorant and you feel like you are the smartest man in the room at all times
I know you don't like me, so the feeling is mutual
Happy New Year y'all
I just had to lol at someone starting to do anything in 2017 thinking they’re an OG. Continue on.
Speaking of woodwork, the Austrailian horror movie Wyrmwood is pretty cool.

There are people on this board who will consider you a noob unless you were physically attending Jazz games in 1970, as if that team had literally anything to do with this team. Let's not be gatekeeping.
Plus, frankly, caring who is or isn't an ''OG'' is very silly behaviour.
I’m the OG Aussie
The only OG i want is Anunoby
Is there a way that posters can go to another thread to measure their equipment size against each other? I'd really like to read about basketball on the game threads.
Team looked tired, with many short shots and slow rotations by multiple players (Zion, JV, Herb, Billy). Understandable given the schedule, but was hoping for better given the depth we have been using. If we have to play B2B games on the road, I'd prefer to do so outside of our division. Luckily, it won't be an issue in the playoffs.
It looks like the new go-to defense on Zion is a medium-sized dude with quickness playing him up front with a big or two providing back-up near the rim. Last night Zion tried to dribble through his man more often than making early passes out of the double-team. CJ also had multiple uncharacteristic turnovers. It looked like the fatigue was mental even more than physical for those two.
I really missed Larry Nance in this game, and haven't noticed any update on him. Any word?
Hi there! Happy New Year! Better hope we don’t come across Memphis or Utah rebuild mode in the playoffs.
I wish they would all "come out of the woodwork." We (and, i'm sure, this board) need as many fans as we can get.
