I like the idea of being able to pair Jax with another C on the floor as it really works in some matchups. Would like to see him continue to expand his range as his activity is such a nice addition to the game.

i enjoyed seeing ben hit zion with his forearm everytime he drove against zion lol.....ben was playing bully ball against zion...
Another great game from Kira even having to deal with multiple screens and a bigger guy. Ended tonight with 3 steals.
I wish yall would stop begging for a top 5 pick.
When that player comes into the league and doesn't become an instant all-star, you'll just complain that this team has too many young players and Griff is bad at drafting. You already did that to Jax early this year.
Be happy the youth already on the team is promising and they can win.
Well done Stan !
Amazing what this team can do when they play team defence like Stan has been preaching from day one.
Big nights around the league:
Zion: 37/15/8
Tatum: 53/10/4
Towns: 30/11/7
LaVine: 50/8/5
Trae: 42/8/9
Jokic: 20/11/11 (still a quarter to go)
Oh and Steven Adams proved his worth tonight.
The Adams bashers just gonna have to punch air on this one.
Embiid back on the court shooting after the game.
Big fella frustrated tonight.
the main reason i want us to make the playoffs is because we play up to the level of the competition......i dont think we would get swept by anyone in the playoffs if we are healthy......we could win a series if coach and players be on the same page and dont crack under the pressure....
Zion Williamson is averaging 26.5 points on 61.7% shooting this season.

That’s the most PPG by any player with 60+ FG% in NBA history.
It’s also the highest FG% by any player with 15+ FGA per game in NBA history.
A truly historical season. pic.twitter.com/XKcX9GRdMc
Zion stats this year against elite defenses:
Number 1 Defense - LA Lakers:
- 21/12/4 on 47.4%FG
- 27/9/5 on 69.2%FG
Number 2 Defense - Philadelphia 76ers
- 37/15/8 on 53.6%FG
Number 4 Defense - Utah Jazz
- 32/5/3 on 72.7%FG
- 27/3/4 on 64.3%FG
- 26/10/5 on 58.8%FG
Number 5 Defense - Phoenix Suns
- 20/2/0 on 69.2%FG
- 28/7/6 on 85.7%FG
- 23/5/4 on 72.7%FG
Number 6 Defense - Miami Heat
- 32/14/1 on 55%FG
- 21/9/7 on 53.8%FG
Number 7 Defense - Memphis Grizzlies
- 29/4/5 on 71.4%FG
- 31/7/6 on 81.3%FG
This is just absurd stuff. He's not just feasting on bottom feeders, every single time we face up to an elite team he does this.
Funnily enough his 3 least efficient games of the season (the only 3 where he's shot below 45%) came against the 11th, 25th, and 27th ranked defenses respectively.
You'll note that there are no stats provided for the Number 3 defense. Simple reason why: that's the Knicks and we haven't played them yet.
Wow. Thank you, Wiza.....Westbrook.....Wizbrooks.
And Knicks and Nuggs.
Great night all around.
They are not taking this well at all on the Sixers Twitter feed.
LOL

I was really surprised how well the lineup of two centers, two power forwards and one guard played especially considering today’s nba. I am very impressed with Jax improvements on both sides of the floor as well as with his desire to compete now
Against the Sixers, that can work. They, ironically, are a very good matchup for our weaknesses. They cant shoot and want to own the paint. And since we are built like a 90s team, we can play with them. I would rather play Philly in a series than say Chicago, even though Philly is clearly the better team. I wouldnt get too excited about last night. That was a good matchup. We didnt improve our defense, we just ran into another team that thinks its the 90s
I honestly would like to bring back james Johnson for next season...hopefully he takes the minimum to come back...
Dodged a bullet by not trading for Victor Oladipo . Stinks for him he is injured again.
Jaxson Hayes is also allowing the lowest FG% at the rim in the league since this time at 46.5%.

Minimum 40 attempts defended
Jax has been fantastic for a good few games now. Even pre-dating the heavy minutes at the 4 by a bit.
Still a small sample size but he is showing signs of being a versatile and effective defender with a real ability to switch on to perimeter players and stay engaged. Could be power forward is a more natural position for him at pro level. Pleasant surprise.
I never understood forcing an undersized center to be mismatch against vet centers in the 1st place. My original thought for Hayes was let him grow as a bench PF/ small ball C and transition him to center when he's done developing his weight and strength.
I remember reading an article talking about how worthless Gentry was for development with his 45 minute practices and never teaching anything. He run his offense and that's all he cared about. Which is great for a vet team but we aren't a vet team to operate in such a lax environment to succeed.
SVG comes in and has to build a foundation with a lot of young players that don't know how to win in the NBA. I get SVG attitude during the early season where he seem more concerned with development than result of games. He had to turn a daycare environment into a real basketball team.
No coach is perfect. SVG's game management needs a good team to hide it. In his whole coaching career, SVG has never been know as a savient development coach. We drafted some really good young men with great work ethic that wants to be coach. SVG is really thriving with the young guys. I've been pleasantly surprised with SVG in-house coaching and very happy with development and progress with a lot of our young players.
SVG does deserve to get criticize for poorly managing games, but he also deserve praise for developing our young guys and getting the team as a whole improve like at rebounding for instant... Still One or two rights doesn't absolve him of all his faults. It's about being straightforward and objective with his performance as a coach in his 1st year. There is good and bad. Right now... The good clearly outweigh the bad. Winning game is technically the end all to success in the NBA.
Fred Vinson not SVG

Development isn’t just shooting
His tweets are good for the most part. Love the avatar.

Guy posts something and immediately gets slammed for his coaching.

I mean I’m starting to change my mind after looking at this avatar. How can we fire that? It is actually impressive for an nba coach
Really solid win guys.
It's true, once you have a job you have to delete your Twitter account, cause when you make a Twitter you sign a non-compete claused contract and it demands 40 hours a week of your time. It's definitely not some random thing you can do in 20 seconds.
If you have a job you must resign any and all personal or political opinions and keep them to yourself.
Heard ''shut up and dribble'' Stan? Time to ''shut up and coach''.
As I keep saying, Zion>Luka.
