Raptors at Pelicans 11/15/17

I’m surprised to see that everyone that has played so far has scored. Lol.

Our team consistently over reacts to post ups and drives. Sometimes the best defense is to make a team shoot a contested two over the top of your defense. We don’t do that enough. It’s why teams always “get hot” against us.

Funny thing is just that you would be right...if this was even 3 or 4 years ago. The game is getting broken by 3pt spamming. The Pels are high in 3ptrs given up, but not that high. Opponents attempt the 7th most 3s against them, make the 8th most 3s, and it's pretty much a league average (13th) 3pt%.

It's just hard to adjust your basketball eye to all the chucking, and so it feels like it's a ton every night, but it's a leaguewide problem.

I am so excited to see this Diallo. We knew he could do this, he just needs the spin.

The primacy of the three point shot is really not good for the game. And the excuse some people give (that it's beautiful basketball, with tons of ball movement and pretty jumpers) isn't even true because it's really irritating and ugly to watch people just jack 30-40 threes every night.

Other than the clippers game he has had like 10 total min. I am praying to the bball gods that Diallo gets to 20min 15pts and 8rb a game. He is still green as grass but I love what I am seeing.

As always for us. Boogie never gets calls in his favour, AD very rarely gets them as often as he should, Jrue never gets them at all, etc etc.

Can't remember the last shot that Toronto missed. Like 15 in a row

Boogie isn't the only center in this game wiht a temper. those two nearly came to blows in the World Championships a couple of years ago

Amazing passer the whole team looks different when he is on the court he always pushes the ball.

One thing that annoys me about Boogie is that he has no consciousness of the shot clock. It's pretty regular, at least once per game, he'll get the ball back with only a few seconds on the clock and he'll just dribble into traffic until the clock expires.

This team just plays no defense at all. Like none

At least Miller can hit a shot.
