Pels at Lakers GAMEDAY 10-22

I said it the other game. But I've been super impressed with Ian Clark. I didn't expect much from him but he has played pretty well for us. This has been a nice surprise and we've definitely needed it.

I'm still a little disappointed Gentry is going with a 9 man rotation and no PF/C off the bench. I really thought Diallo did enough to earn some playing time.

Once we start getting these turnovers cleaned up we'll be even better

It's honestly kind of surprising given the conditioning issues from the prior two games.

Our old guys are pretty winded. I want diallo to play!

Yea, Davis and Cousins are going to be so gassed so early this year doing what they're doing. Diallo is prolly still super bad and raw with defensive IQ. But he is such a solid shooter, rebounder, lane runner, finisher that I think he can impact the game positively. Just have to pick the moments where he doesn't have to worry about elite bigs and throw him some game time. He will learn so much more so much quicker being given a chance.

Really nice patience and touch by Cousins on the fast break there.

AD is good at basketball

Davis with godly start to the 3rd. No hesitation of letting that 3 go and nothing but net. If that becomes reliable he is going to be the best big in the league.

I was just thinking about it, is it possible for a player (that didn't come into the league with star billing) to become a star? I know Whiteside has become a star of sorts, and Isaiah Thomas has, but it seem like a guy like Jrue cant get there no matter how hard he tries.

More thumbs up for Clark, but I was surprised by how well Nelson just defended Randle on the perimeter. Impressive when the guy could theoretically just shoot over you.

I wanted him soooooo badly this past offseason. He has a 1 year deal so maybe we can snag him in the offseason this year!

This game feels like the first game I've watched the Pels where Davis has been the clear and undisputed first option and Cousins has really stepped back when AD in on the court with him. Anyone else getting a sense of that?

I feel like Clarkson always plays like Curry against us

The struggle is real for Boogie from the FT line

Probably the first time in a long time, I don't feel incredibly uncomfortable with the 2nd unit on this team. And yes, that's including after the two losses.

Kyle Kuzma is a fun guy to watch.

Darrius Miller is not.

Boogie is getting straight up BULLIED down low.
