Personally I think this redraft should be more about who can build the best team and not who can make the best trades.

I just think all the trading takes away or overshadows what this redraft is really meant for.
Really takes the fun out of it
I really like my team a lot, but I've considered dropping out. I'm just going to do like loco said and not even consider trades.
I tried to trade up and pm'd three different members before I finally found who had the pick
There have only been what.... 4 or 5 trades and bball already has the draft order updated? Last year there were well over 50. None of the trades have been that one sided. Every team has a chance.
At the very least every team should be required to have a certain number of picks. If you have 9 rounds, you should have 9 picks. You have 4 picks and have already used 1 of them. That obviously means you only have 3 picks left in the entire draft.
Yah i have 1 in round 8, 2 in 9, 2 in 10, 2 in 11, 2 in 12. Plus the 3 i made is 12.
Same rules apply. I know you don't want to hear this but you probably won't be able to field a competitive team because of the trades you've made. So not everyone has a fair chance.
Hahah ok yes durant, aldridge and cousins wont give me a fair team.
Takes 12 players, not 3. And Aldridge and Cousins are a poor fit together.
Take a look at this years Portland team. They have a solid starting 5 but have no bench and are 5 games below .500 because of it.
You don't pick again for another 131 picks, and don't pick again for another 24 picks after that. You won't be able to fill out your starting five with solid players, much less a bench that can make your team competitive.
I mean I'm sorry, but that's all because trades are being allowed.
Aldridge and Cousins a poor fit?!?! Do u watch basketball?
Can u please explain how they do not? Just asking since you decided on making yourself part of this conversation.
Both Cousins and Aldridge dominate the ball. Cousins is not an efficient scorer and he will take alot of shots away from a more efficient Aldridge. Plus, neither will defend that well.
I don't like the idea of trading picks either. I think there would be alot more parity if no trades were allowed.
Yeah I dont think Cousins is a great fit for that team, plus I think hes overrated based on his potential, and hes an idiot
I could probably write a couple paragraphs on why they are a poor fit together. To go a little farther than you neither are great rebounders. That team wouldn't be a strong rebounding team. Neither are great defenders on the block. Neither are good pick and roll defenders. Neither will protect the rim, neither are known for their shot blocking abilities (in fact I'd say that would be one of the poorer shot blocking big man combos in the league). Average defensive rating of 107. That front court would get eaten alive inside.
^ aldridge is the best mid range shooting big men inthe league. A two man game between him and durant is lethal. If the 2 man is game not working cousins is one of the best low post scorers in the league. He has been close to dominant the 2d half of this season. Durant plays with a much more ball dominant player in westbrook and has no problem.
On defense i have 3 7 footers( or close to it) on the front line so defense will mot be a problem. The front court can score in every way possible and durant would run the show.
Seriously, are we watching the same players? Durant, aldridge and cousins are all good rebounders, none are howard or love but who is? What frontline so far is a better rebounding front line? Please name 1. Also cousins is a strong low post defender and the length of the 3 of them combined would make up for any deficiencies.
Aldridge is shooting 41% from midrange this season, league average for his position is 40.7.
So no, he is not the best mid range shooting big man in the league.
Basically Cousins and Aldridge's two biggest contributions to the game are their scoring and their shot attempts will take a hit because they're playing with Kevin Durant, which will hurt their impact on the team as well as their overall value to 247's team.
^ you do know that Durant played with Westbrook and Harden last year right?? You do know that Durant and Aldridge pick and roll is virtually unstoppable right? you do know that Durant is one of the bets 3 point shooters in the league and every team must account for him on the perimeter and throw him doubles all game long... therefore leaving Cousins and Aldridge on an island by themselves down low.
I mean whatever.. we will see how the votes got once all the teams are built.
Offering a 5, 5, and 6 to move up
Jrue Holiday, Hornetguru's 5th rounder for 51 and beeballs 4th rounder.
ok *** it... Cousins is on the trade block. Don't want to move him but will listen to offers.
@IamQuailman I sent you a reply back and I know I am on the clock.
Replied
I wanna move up a little, will swap 4th and 6th (and 3rd) to move up a little if someone is willing to move down a couple spots
Looking to get back into round 3. Willing to trade 4th and swap of 5th including later picks also can be discussed. Send me a message if you'd like to trade down or out of the third round.
Trade between Pistons and Knicks
Pistons receive: Cousins, 9(knicks), 11 (knicks)
Knicks Receive: 3 OTC, 4(Pistons #75) and 7 (166)
NY sends Parsons and 10 (knicks) to dallas for 4,7.
Dallas agrees.
Equal number of picks need to be swapped.
Can't send Parson and 10
for
4 and 7th
When this is run next year, no trades other than straight up round pick swapping 1st and 2nd for 1st and 2nd. Hornetstime spent a 5th rounder to pretty much move up in every round
No trades at all. This is just ridiculous.
Might be willing to move Gortat, would probably want another pick this round involved
I border between advanced stats and what I see.
Raptors and Celtics are swapping picks in rounds 5, 6, and 10.
