Huge second quarter. First half of the second quarter was some of the best offense of the year, slowed down a bit towards the end and it allowed the Nuggets to score a bit more freely but if we can replicate anything close to that in the third, we'll be in good stead.

Zion making impact when his shot isn't super active, 6pts, 4rbds, 7asts, 1stl
BI with a few nice passes and his jumper is on, 14pts, 1rbd, 3asts
JV on his way to another double double, 6pts, 9rbds, 2asts

But massive props to Hawkins (16/3/3 with 4 3PM), Ryan (13pts/1ast on 4 3PM) and Dyson (9pts on 4/4 shooting) for giving contributions from outside of the stars.

denver made some good 3s in that run but the open cuts to the basket that gave denver 6 easy points has to stop....communicate when you trapping jokic ...

Not correct. He played 25 minutes. Can't do that in two quarters. Must have gotten hurt later on.

16pts is a new career high for Hawk btw, and we're only at halftime

First time we've actually seen Zion on the court with two true shooters, and he gets 7 assists in a half. I like having Ryan and Hawkins both on the court with Zion. Just think when Trey comes back.

Im not expecting us to shoot like this but that was a nice showing in the 2nd quarter. The gravity that zion and bi has with the shooters makes a big difference. And Jokic is a such a special player, love how this guy plays!

The prospect of seeing Hawk and Trey together makes me very excited. We will be ridonculously deep if we can keep everyone healthy.

I know that you'd have to have JV as the 5th man to prevent being annihilated on the boards, but I hope they try out Zion + Trey + Hawk + Ryan at some point, just to see how it looks. I know the rebounding would be rough, but if you don't miss anything, there's nothing to rebound.

This, and frankly, we're not going to shoot 59% from 3 all game. We're going to miss some that we've made thus far, and they're going to hit some that they've missed. Can the team keep it together, and play with integrity despite that? We'll see.
