Give him 3 mil a year with team options on the back end of the contract and I am fine with that. We have to sweeten the pot against teams like Miami who want to sign him for the minimum.

Yeah. They say we're "in the mix", which to them we have no shot. But I've learned years ago that ESPN isn't the "source" that they claim to be.

I still think he'll go to Miami, but I think we're alot closer on his list than ESPN thinks he is.

yea and he keeps tweeting sites of his breaking news...looks like a guy trying to get a little publicity by picking the favorite among most people

Smart kid, though. Made a fake report, then tweeted it to every single heat reporter, web site, blog, etc.

Probably got more page views this morning than every other day combined. If he is right, he looks like an insider. If not, he loses nothing because nobody ever went to that site anyway.

Totally agree, I was just pointing that out so no one takes it as even remotely based on anything but a kid trying to make a name with a pure 100% guess.

Yeah I mean I guess it's not a bad idea if he cares about getting page views that badly. Just a little pathetic.

I have a feeling that for him it's basically "I want to go to this team(hopefully us), but I could win ring with the Heat. Will I regret not possibly winning a ring? Would this make me look afraid or stupid? What if I get hurt?" Etc. Because most people wouldn't even think about not going to the world champions who still have a chance to win it all again unless they really did have another team in mind. I can see him signing here as it is low key and out of the spotlight. In Miami he would be an ant, under a magnifying glass, in the sun.
