Carter-Williams has one assist in the entire game for Cuse. :hihi: How do you even do that?

I hope we package this year's pick for a lottery in next year's draft.
ya im not really sold on anyone in this draft, i still do like bazz though regardless of people say UCLA runs their offense terribly and I would love to have him, and ya i agree he has paul pierce in him i can see it, but next years draft is freaking insane but i think we wont be a lottery team next year so id be fine with trading this pick for next years
Getting Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins would be insane.
or julius randle, its crazy that the best 3 players in next years draft are all SF in parker, wiggins, and randle, and they all compare to some really great players in the nab
Wiggins reminds me of a scottie pippin clone, he is the definition of an athlete, the kid can fly, is an awesome defender, rebounder, and has a good good enough 3 point shot
andrew wiggins reminds me a ton of melo, can score anywhere and in any way on the court at any time, also has a super high basketball IQ, but not the most athletic person
Julius Randle looks like the next chris webber, at 6"9 he is a tweener and could even grow more, but his jumpshot and rebounding are incredible
If we could land one of them this would be awesome, lets hope we can get a good C or PG this offseason
Comparing parker or randle to wiggins is an insult. Those two are nowhere near his level. A lot of people dont yet understand how amazing wiggins really is. He is the best prospect since Lebron hands down..better than durant... better than davis...better than oden, and he will show that next year in college.
Ps watch out team usa in 2016 and beyond
Team Canada
Tyler Ennis/Myck Kobongo/Kevin Pangos/Cory Joseph
Xavier Rathan-Mayes/Nick Stauskas/Andy Rautins
Andrew Wiggins
Trey Lyles/Anthony Bennett/Andrew Nicholson/Birch
Tristan Thompson/Kelly Olynyk/Samuel Dalembert/Sim Bhullar
Wiggins+Lyles superstar duo is going to be the states toughest challenge next olympics especially with the decline of spain and argentina. Obviously still wont be much of a challenge unless all these young guys end up being stars.
No one is comparing them man...
Good to know Guru is already scouting the 2014 draft for us...
I don't see Parker in next years draft, but I do see Randal and Wiggins. Parker is going to go on a mission for his church, while the other two will go on to make millions (following their freshman year).
I don't know much about Randal, but here is a quick comparison of Wiggins and Parker

You all can say that all you want about trading the pick, but you would rage out just like me on draft night. :hihi:
It's also been reported that he won't be going on that mission.
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/8...18.html?pg=all
Starting that mission talk was PR machine. Make his character look higher that he was at minimum conflicted.
It's all about perspective. Young men in the Mormon church can now start serving at 18 as opposed to 19 (the age requirement prior to Oct. 2012). Just because he isn't going at 18 doesn't mean he won't be going at all. The article just says he isn't planning on serving right out of high school is all.
He has a good head on his shoulders and good parents helping him through some crazy decisions.
He will go and be back for the 2015 draft.
What about the kings? I dont see them being any better
If the Kings got the right coach they could be the Jailblazers of the late 90's with Sheed, Grant, Stodamire, and Sabonis.
But like PH said, none of those guys are dumb enough to make that trade, so hold out hope we can win the lotto and take McLemore, or Smart.
Here is a name to kick around when you are talking pg's.
Kyle Anderson. He is a freshman pg for the UCLA Bruins, and he was second team PAC-12. He put up 9pts, 3asst., 8 reb, 1.8 stls, but 2.1 to's. Like I said, he is a pg, but in UCLA's system he was used as a swingman. He is 6'9 but quick. If he comes out, it would be worth keeping an eye on his landing spot.
http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles...lly-number-one
Wait he's 6'9" and a PG? I'm confused.
he's a small forward
SF 6"9 235 7"2 wingspan, tall and long
He's crap lol
Ahh makes more sense. Not sure I want much of anyone on that UCLA offense other than Bazz.
He played pg in HS and at UCLA Howland tried to make him a "point forward" which is another term for, " I have this amazing talent on my team and I don't know what to do with him, but I don't want to waste his talents on the bench."
He is a pg in the Shaun Livingston role, and far from crap. I think we are seeing just how underrated the PAC-12 is since the start of this tourney. So for him to be 2nd team so quickly is saying something about this talent.
Hedo was athletic as Anderson? Like I said, keep an eye out for him. He could rise up the ranks if he comes out. He is a good option for a contending team as you can bring him along and have a solid bench player or starter within 1 or 2 years. He is Jalen Rose without the shot, but with better rebounding skills.
Even if he does rise he isn't a PG.
They were crap? They look pretty solid to me.
I mean he was 2nd team all PAC-12 as a freshman putting up numbers across the board. Very Andre Kirilinko like in they he had nice numbers across the board, but none of those numbers were amazing. And for a 19 year old...he and Bazz were supposed to form the best backcourt in the NCAA when they came in together, I guess neither guy lived up to his expected billing.
But he can be used as a pg. He is no more a pg than Rivers.
That's what it says.
http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school/...ifferent-level
Kyle Anderson is a point forward and he's slow. He cant guard the quicker dudes. Id be shocked if he came out this year because he probably wouldnt get picked in the first round. He's way way way too raw.
DeShaun Thomas looked good out there for Ohio St. Pelicans also need to look at Aaron Craft
Pelicans need to concentrate on Victor Olidapo
Kyle's got potential, but he's got a ways to go. He'll never be a starting point anything for anyone in the NBA because he's not athletic enough. He's gonna have to get better in the paint. He'll wind up being a good guy to have on your team cause he's a tall guy who doesn't clumsily dribble the ball off his foot. His upside is that I'm not sure he's worked on putting on muscle; he looks soft. If he does that, who knows what his game will look like in a few years. IMO, he can play basketball so that's a starting point.
Man the more I watch oladipo the more impressed I become. Love his defense and energy man dam. I think with his shot being the only concern isn't really a bad thing cuz their shot they can work on and is one of the easiest things to fix as long as the hard work and potentials there. Which it is cause its not like his shooting is horrible or nothing but just would like it to be a lil better being a sg. His driving ability and taking it to the hoop makes up for it too.
That's not bad considering he wasn't the pg. Drew was the starting pg, and Adams came in second in assists. For comparison, GV records 9 assists a game, and Gordon is averaging 3 a game. Not bad.
So he had 2.4 turnovers a game but 9/8/1. For comparison Bazz had 1.5 turnovers 17/5 and was a black hole when he was passed the ball. I am not trying to knock Bazz as much as I am trying to point out how well rounded this kid is.
Should he fun to see what he does.
I'd still rather try and move the pick for a proven vet.
Last time i checked the b2b were managements desicion not Gordon. Last time i checked this is a pretty weak draft and there are not really any cant miss prospects. You want to offload a burden (in your eyes) for another burden (we would almost surely take some salary back). Like Gordon or not he is one of the two potential allstars on this team. Oladipo may turn out to be a solid player, but he will not set the world on fire his first season. This basically ensures another tank. Idk what the obsession is with drafting at one of the two positions we are set at.
For people who have been watching Temple and Indiana, Has Oladipo been guarding Wyatt the entire game or what?
