Yeah I was in the Arena and didn't get a great view of it, but I just don't see how you call that so late in the game.

in fact, klay is shooting below 40% and has a PER below 13
Yea but isn't he a rookie? Just imagine if he can do what he did tonight consistently...you know eventually. For a while there the kid couldn't miss. It was impressive. Shot looked nice. Defense a number of times was impressive. Looked like some pretty high upside to me.
This is his 2nd year.
He's a second year player shooting like 40% from the field and 38% from three.

Mark Jackson on Hornets: "The future is bright for this team. If you think about... financially and the talent they have, it is scary."
Free throws were a huge reason we lost. It wasn't the only reason and to continue harping that as the sole basis of our defeat is stupid. Monty's rotations were questionable at best, our defense in general was notrocious in the first half, and the referees were absolute ******* again.
And yes, Vasquez (and Smith) had bad games. If you watched the game, that much was obvious. RAWR!!!

notorious? atrocious you mean?
Greivis had a bad night? 15 assists, 3 stls, but only 8 points is a bad night? Blaming Vasquez must be a security blanket for some of you guys.
For someone who didn't watch the game, what would you guys say was going on with Lopez? Not much time played tonight.
Just cuz he had good stats doesn't mean he didn't make any mistakes all game....especially down the stretch. He made some bad decisions...but Gordon also made bad decisions.....he scored 23. Doesn't mean that he's not subject to critique. I'm not saying its all Vasquez...a lot of factors including coaching went into it. But people gotta stop looking at the stat sheet and watch key situations in the game. He isn't to blame for the entire loss...its the whole team...but he did have mistakes that led to it...just like guys missing FTs, Gordon turning the ball over at the worst possible time like Vasquez did, Monty letting the lead slip too far before putting the starters in.
Would you rather the Hornets give the game away or have it taken from them?
Didn't seem like we really tried to get him involved. Only thing i remember him doing was missing a hook shot in front the rim that seemed like he shoulda just dunked it. Total non factor it seemed from where i was sittingQuote:

Seems to me it's easier to fix giving a game away than having it taken away.
Maybe that's just me.
