This could very well change, but Zion has not shown the defensive awareness yet for me to think he plays the Draymond role, and he doesn't really have the lateral quickness to guard efficiently on the perimeter. KD and Steph were really smart defenders as well.
The defensive IQ is lacking for the Pels right now in the young guys, which is why that unit was so much better when Favors was on the floor. Now if you inject Jonathan Isaac into that unit we'd be speaking the same language.
