Yeah this organization needs it right now. Pray that it makes the right decision.
Washington’s search process for a new coach has narrowed to several assistants, including Dallas’ Jamahl Mosley, Milwaukee’s Darvin Ham and Charles Lee and Denver’s Wes Unseld, Jr., sources tell ESPN. Those are among the candidates who will talk to Wizards again this week.

Hmmmm Willie no longer a candidate in Washington
No Willie Green on this list either
Mosley and Unseld Jr., are also serious head coaching candidates for the Orlando Magic job, sources tell ESPN.

Nate staying
Atlanta president/GM Travis Schlenk told reporters that an agreement was in place to shed interim label after McMillan led Hawks to Eastern Conference Finals.

So if you are keeping score Charles Lee still on the board in Wash. Willie Green off both Wash and Orlando board. Either Willie took his name out or got hired by a team.
why yall letting 13-3 trip yall out lol ?.....13-3 is the board comedien....i read his post for the comedy and get a laugh for the day....
People are getting rosey to the idea now at least

Wait till they find out what came out of CP’s mouth
Suns associate head coach Willie Green is a finalists for the New Orleans Pelicans head coaching position.

Sources tell me "strong mutual interest" between the two exists.
CP3 saying things like this about Green, I think Zion, BI and young Pels would respond well to him as HC. pic.twitter.com/xm9PLQxCP9
Chris Paul on his way back here too?
So Chris Paul can’t imagine life without Willie.:)
I think the similarities between Milwaukee's stars and our young guys makes Lee the most intriguing candidate. Lee would have spent a long time discussing with others how to get the most out of a big who likes to attack from the perimeter but doesn't shoot much, alongside a finesse SF with good range all around the court.
But obviously it all comes down to who presents the best and what the decision makers think is the priority when hiring.
Bledsoe stays long term if it’s Lee. It is his workout Buddy when with Bucks
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...boston-celtics
Quote:
Bledsoe spent the summer of 2018 in Arizona, where he got back into the gym immediately. He would go in the early morning and sometimes again late at night, convinced his conditioning played a role in why the Bucks lost. He flew to Las Vegas and Milwaukee to work out with Charles Lee, a Bucks assistant coach. He took yoga classes to help with his nerves, balance and flexibility. He worked on breathing techniques. He would later employ that deep breathing as a way to calm the frayed nerves he has battled for more than a decade.
That's speculation.
It might be a good thing. Maybe he can turn Bledsoe around. Look Nate McMillan did wonders for Solomon Hill ‘ s career. Completely brought him back from broken.
Perhaps. But end of the day, we know little about what Charles Lee would want. Might be that Bledsoe is better served as a trade asset.
That is true. For example We keep saying it’s junk people will believe it’s junk. Focus on what Bledsoe has done that is positive so far. Last thing we need to do is diminish his value. You brought up a good point.
We will have an Bledsoe appreciation thread after The Finals.
By the end of the month, Willie Green may have 3 rings as an assistant coach before his 40th birthday. He's also got experience playing in New Orleans.

Should he be at the top of the list of potential targets for the Pelicans head coaching vacancy?https://t.co/zyyFzDmj0M
Thank you Jake

Are we really gonna take Lee right to the finish line and choose the other coach, twice?
Lee probably waiting to first see if Budenholzer gets fired and he is up for Bucks position
I know that is not what is happening because Carlisle was told after Bucks won round 2 that Bud was coming back. Why he chose Indy.
Lee wants us. He has looked hard for assistants - I know several he has reached out to, including one on the staff he currently works with. Ball in the Pels court, Lee, Vinson, and Green all want the job
That's not a terrible list to choose from... none of them have any skins as HC, but it'll ultimately be on Griff (and Langdon) to give the new HC something to work with.
I just hope Griff sees the light now and realizes you can't win in today's game without guys that can SHOOT. He said as much in his presser after the season ended, but his moves will tell us if he truly believes it.
One, but he likely wont come because he was/is close with SVG.
Green has talked to J Collins, but he doesnt have any HC experience. The three guys I know Lee has talked to - none of them have HC experience. Pickings there are kind of slim. Brett Brown makes some sense. Sam Mitchell wants to get back into coaching. Maybe Mike Brown can be had if you write him a huge check. But pickins are slim
Makes you wonder if Green is going to bring people in from Golden State

Maybe Green can bring CP3
Corey Vinson yes that is Fred Vinson ‘s son could be coming along too. Don’t shoot the messenger . Just reading off another message board.

Another Willie article

It's a bit trippy, are we waiting to see which team wins the finals before deciding on Lee or Green? Is this a Gentry 2.0 move? Lol
I continue to hear from NBA sources Suns assistant coach Willie Green is the presumed next Pelicans head coach.

While a deal is NOT done, plenty of mutual interest and I’m told, “Willie wants the New Orleans job and they want him.” pic.twitter.com/C7cNUMhDfy
One step closer I guess.
Crazy how it feels like he surged out of nowhere. I didn't even know he was a coach a month ago.
