It's pretty much what I expected, but the fact that long term it's probably not a big deal doesn't change the fact that nobody angling for $20m should be going 1/11 in an NBA game.

Max Zo!
That was a very nice run and pass for a shot at the end of the half.
Well!!! We won the quarter 33 -27.
Great Pass Naji Marshall.
RJ Hampton been balling lately. I hope that trade was worth it Griff
Please more Naji minutes in the second half.
On the plus side, Ingram and Bledsoe had a much better 2nd quarter than 1st. If they keep that up we may be getting somewhere.
Lol Warrior's callers going ham on the the Pels D
My slow building PMD(Pelicans Medicority Dementia) has me on board for Lowry and Powell as FA guards.
Get Curry out of this game.
Tell them he has four fouls.
Curry has his 27 and we're 4:30 into the second half.
40 ball
There's this thing that good teams do, where they try and make sure their best offensive players get as many good shots as possible and try to minimise the amount of shots their worst offensive players take outside of their niches.
Why don't we do that.
Willy really got that hook shot down
Nothing hurts my soul more than seeing Ingram making a perfect read to pass out to an open guy... For that open guy to be Bled
One of the least fun things about the Pelicans this year - and that is a long list of things - is the number of times Ingram or Zion have made a great read, passed out, and had the shooter either just not bother taking the shot for no reason, or completely brick it. It makes even well run, fluid, confident offensive possessions with good ball movement and accurate reads from developing ball-handlers feel like a waste of time.
I may be ill informed, but I didn't see a foul, and it was inside the restraining area anyway.
Guess we have to hope San Antonio loses. Lol.
If they have a bit of a chance, don't think Zion can sit again. They always go down more when he sits.
Curry 4 fouls early and they will not call another one on him

Like, what is this?
Time to focus on tomorrow night. Hoping for a better showing in game 2.
Lonzo missing an open 3 with a backboard clank... Poetic
Zion feeling he has to do it himself because he doesn't trust his teamates. We better draft all guards this year.
We need shooters on this team and a savvy vet guard (game manager).
Can we just tank already?
How bad are we defensively?
We have exactly eight personal fouls (three by the starters).
Contrast that with the Warriors who have 25 personal fouls (25 by the starters).
We are not aggressive enough at all.
Those Warriors Unis are almost perfect. Very nice to the eye
Lonzo with 3/18 as we wind down, 1/9 from 3.
Some people are going to look at 8 assists and 2 steals and think he had a good game other than the shooting, but he did not.
Horrible night for him.
Put DiDi in!!
This happens again tomorrow.
Endgame: GS win 123-108
Zion: 32/8/1 with 2 blocks, 50% shooting (0/2 from 3), 73% from the line
Ingram: 19/2/4, 45.4% shooting, 1/4 from 3, 100% from the line
Billy: 10/7 with 4/5 shooting
Lonzo: 7/7/8 with 2 steals, 3/18 shooting (16.7%) with 1/9 from 3 (11%)
Bled: 11/5/4 on 4/7 shooting
Johnson adds in 6 points on 3/10 shooting
Naji contributed a good 12/6 on 4/6 shooting
Jax with 9/4 on 4/4 shooting in 14 minutes, along with a steal.
Edit: oh, and Curry got his 40 points. That's gonna happen again tomorrow.
