He was happy enough to play the 5 in the playoffs for LA.
He just didn't think we were worth it :'(
Zion has now made 13 consecutive FTs, going back over the last 3 games.
Over his last 8 games (including tonight so far) he is 43/52 from the line, good for 82.6%
edit: lmao, and there's the miss.
Still, 44/54 is still good for 81.4%
If your guards can?t run a game, run it through your best players until you get a guard that can. BI and Zion doing a good job of setting the tone the past two nights.
One thing I'm absolutely sick of on this team is guys getting wide open 3 point looks and just... not
Like, they don't decide to drive instead, they don't immediately move it along, they just kind of start to shoot and then decide not to and then pause for 3 seconds while they figure out what they'll do instead. Infuriating.
So as I was saying, Billy is the glue that holds the team together.
I accept your apology DAE.
Everyone's hitting right now. Lonzo's 3/4 from 3, Redick's 2/3, Kira's hit one, Bledsoe is 2/2. Shooting 61.5% from 3 as a team right now.
I knew Billy could hit that.
Lmao at even Billy hitting threes now. Let's do it. Pels 25 threes game
We've outscored Portland 34-19 in the second
Note: we only have 5 turnovers in the first half.
Lillard might have tweaked something. He was trying to shake it off at the other end of the court.

Meanwhile, attempted murder in the Nuggets/Wizards game. Jesus Christ. Flagrant.
Nice first half for Pelicans. Even Willie was hitting 3s. I just hope he and Jax can do together what Steven does.
I have absolutely no faith in Lonzo being a shooter at this level just generally (he's shot about 47% from 3 over our last 10 games and even his fans can admit that's probably a bit high for sustainability) but I'm hoping other teams are willing to think he is. Trade value going up and up.
Pels Third Quarter, a patented lead-losing strategy
Sloppy
A 13-4 3rd quarter start... How expected
We missing easy dunks too.
Zion with another 3
What is Lillard trying to contest there?
Man... Laws of Averages defense kills me
Can Lonzo do anything clutch?
This is the part where we unravel and we(Bledsoe, Hart, or Lonzo) Clank 3 threes and start a 9 point swing on defense giving up 3 wide open shots...?
We are very clumbsy tonight 6 lost pts off missed dunks. Team seems tight...dudes who were hitting last night can't buy a wide open bucket.
Really a shame that Ingram's had such a pants night. Even an average performance from him would probably see us winning now, but sadly he's been saddled with foul trouble, hasn't been able to hit a 3, and has been pretty bad on D.
This is too young of a team to be tired. This is signs of a young team. It's frustrating they don't focus. It's like they have the attention span of a 2 yr old.
Let a 44% 3PT be wide open in the closing stretch of a game. Such garbage.
Zion's up to 30pts on 64% shooting and we're struggling for anyone who isn't him to make something happen
A rested JJ hits a shot wow! Maybe get NAW a run covering Dame. Use his length.
They really only shooting 3s....
BI really stinking it up with these bad decisions tonight.
This line up is so trash.
We have 3 timeouts here. Need to use one, need to get Zion back on the floor.
Dumbass SVG finally calls a TO to get Zion in.
For future reference, might be a good call to play Kira in those minutes where Ingram's on the floor with no Zion. Give the offense another option that isn't just Ingram dribbling for 15 seconds.
Ingram isoball is not the answer with no Zion.
Zion gets back on the floor, points start happening again. Weird how that works.
Lol. JJ has zero shame. He flops on every single play.
Props to Lonzo, his first 3 of the half there I think
