Lonzo just drove in transition, Luka moved so he had the clear layup, and he turned in mid air and passed out it. Why. Why. Why.

Then he relocated to the corner, got the pass back, and was wide open and hesitated, ended up not shooting at all. Why. Why. Why.

Just abominable decision making.

That was a none foul on Jax.

Did I ever say how much I don't care for Lonzo? I really do not care for his game. Borderline detest it.

The Redick shot was disgusting. That should get him put on the bench, but not on this team.

So... It's a 2nd Qtr collapse for tonight...

Luka is so so so good. Decision making is on such a high level. He has counters on counters on counters. Pace control is immaculate. Vision and touch is elite.

Just incredible stuff.

The best part of the Pels organization is Joel Meyers. The dude is golden and really makes the games better.

The Frank Jackson that lost his confidence due to being benched every time he starts to play decent. The benching of the young guys is one of the strangest things Alvin does. It’s a good way to kill their learning curve. It’s just not how you develop young talent. We know Frank is decent, but he is playing scared to make a mistake.

This game shows the possibilities of this team and the glaring weaknesses. Gotta get BI more touches and get him going. Hopefully Jax will stop giving up silly fouls because when he is out, our bad defense because more awful.

I'd trade Moore, Moore's whole family, and everyone who's ever met him ffor Luka.

Luka has 14 rebounds and he's only played 22 minutes.

His current career high is 16.

This is what ***** me off about Gentry. You can complain about his rotations, his plays etc, but his discipline is non existent.
If I had a guy like Gonzo on this team jacking up 3's I would bench the MF.

Yeah, I said at the start of the season that I was going to give it until Christmas before making any firm judgements, but unfortunately under the weight of the evidence, Lonzo's gotta go. He's been a tragedy.

I think Hayes will make a huge offensive approvemement next season similar to Anthony Davis rookie year here. Both were 19 years old with near indetical measurements coming into the NBA.
Hayes rookie season 19 mpg scored 8.6 points 4.4 rebounds on 60% FG with 1.0 bpg 0.8 spg ..
Davis rookie season 28 mpg scored 13.5 points 8.2 rebounds on 51% FG with 1.8 bpg 1.2 spg ..

It doesn’t get much closer and if Hayes had averaged 28 mpg so far in a full time starting role I’m sure he would have the same numbers if not better but more efficient. This kid may never be the versatile scorer AD is but he will do everything else at a similar rate if not better. Can’t wait!

Well, that's 7 more winged angels so far tonight and we still have 15 minutes to go. Lonzo doing the Lord's work.

The funny thing is, we're only down 6 but it's never really seemed like we've had the momentum. Only down 6 and pretty much none of us have any faith in the team's ability to close that gap and win. That tells you how little faith this Pels team has earned.

And Luka's jsut tied his career high in rebounds

And that's 17, a new career high in boards for Doncic.

Edit: nope, it was 18.

So yeah, 35 points, 20 boards incoming for Luka.

Play the Pels, set a record. It's the rules.

This team is so horrible I honestly can't see how Zion will make much difference in year 1.
The team gets open looks, but they can't shoot so how will Zion help that?

I will take a fluky win right now. Just keep it close and turn it on at the end. We got this.

I mean, the one real positive you can find is that we don't take many shots in the paint, especially in clutch time. Zion, at least, will fix that: he will be on court to close games, and he won't settle for stupid 3s. So the clutch offense should be better.
