I said back then, and I've never backed down from it: if we could find 15 minutes a night for 50 games for Cheick Diallo then there's no reason we couldn't find 10 minutes a game in 50 games or so for Jaxson. Glad to see he's getting that chance, and is really fighting for more than just 10 minutes. He has the ability, he just needs experience. Most of his improvement is going to come from experience and from weight: and that's basically just time.

Hayes has such ridiculous hands, that rebound was absurd.

I hate to say it, but those are the funky rebounds that Jax needs to let go. He could have really hurt himself on that one

He’s awesome. It’s going to be fascinating if he keeps starting we get some consistent wins. He has so much potential. Seems to be very coachable.

He's improved so much as a screener since Summer League. His improvement even since game 1 has been so huge. His learning path has been so quick so far.

I remember one time he set a screen 4 times in one play because he didn’t know when Jrue was going to drive. The guy is doing the dirty work and is busting a gut to make sure it gets done. He doesn’t get discouraged from a lack of understanding and I like that

It's really encouraging. He's just picking up the little things so quickly and it's exciting to see him putting his game together. He's really going to be something.

This will likely change when Zion comes back because of how much I loved Zion at college, but Hayes is my favourite Pel to watch right now.
