Well, we shoot and turnover our way out the building this first half. Not like we can play defense to salvage this mess. More Gentry Ball and maybe manage get a crazy finish.

This team needs a enforcer. No one gives a hard foul on this team. They are mentally not in this game. I think they play better at slower pace but Gentry will force it.

Mirotic is a shooter and needs to shoot his way out of this funk he's in.

i will say this: we are VERY fortunate to only be down 17. worst half in recent memory

Bleh... This is really the cherry on top on the already awful day that I'm having.

I don't if it's preparation, gameplan, lack of hustle, low BB IQ or what but there needs to be a lot of changes this offseason. Whether it players, coaches or front office with the amount of money spent it shouldn't be this bad.

I think its the combination of his quiet demeanor and he doesn't really sell fouls the way lots of other guards do. He kind of just plays through it and doesn't actively seek out to create additional contact.

i don't understand how you are supposed to guard Giannis. if you even try contesting his shot, it's an auto foul. or he dunks

I agree and on another level its a sort of self-perpetuating vicious cycle.

The league hates flopping, but refs year in and year out reward players who are good at faking, abusively manufacturing, or greatly exaggerating fouls.
