Maybe Lebron was the guy who left that note to sign him and misspelled Kobe's name while comparing himself to him!

Maybe Lebron was the guy who left that note to sign him and misspelled Kobe's name while comparing himself to him!
Maybe he was the guy telling Monty to not forget about him in 2 off seasons.
I talked to a player on the heat, don't ask me who because I can't tell you, but he told me Lebron really wants to win another championship
Funny thread. That's all that needs saying.
I think Lebron would solve our center woes. He would sloe the opposition down tremendously with his defense.
Wishful thinking = taken to new level.
Even if Lebron wanted to play for a small market team, which he absolutely doesn't, Stern would have kittens over this scenario.
My dream next 9 mths.
Pelican & Eric Gordon have a fast start and team willing to trade for him. We trade him for a SM or C (Varejao, Deng or Grander) & a late 1st rd pick.
We make playoffs as 6 seed then upset the Clippers in 1st round
draft next select Mitch McGray
have about 35 mil in cap space sign LBJ
2014-15 Lineup
PG) Jrue Holiday/ Pierre Jackson
SG) Austin Rivers/ Tyreke Evans
SF) LeBron James/ Anthony Morrow/ Darius Miller
PF) Ryan Anderson/ Al-Farouq Aminu /Mitch McGray
C) Anthony Davis/ Jeff Withey
He wants to come see The Mardi Gras bruh
He won't want to come here with this kind of attitude.
If only if only
Good to see that as long as I've been away, these threads still pop up.
Iverson/Carmelo for Lynch/West/Claxton?
make it happen!!!!
Good to be back!
While LeBron stroll in New Orleans
He ought to go see the Mardi Gras
If he go to New Orleans
He ought to go see the Mardi Gras
When he see the Mardi Gras
Somebody'll tell you what's Carnival for
Get Lebron a ticket in his hand
If he wanna go through New Orleans
Get his ticket in his hand
If he wanna go through New Orleans
He know when he get to New Orleans
Somebody'll show him the Zulu King
LeBron will see the Zulu King
Down on St. Claude and Dumaire
He know, he'll see the Zulu King
Down on St. Claude and Dumaire
An if he stay right there
I'm sure he'll see the Zulu Queen.
We joke about Lebron, but is Durant in '16 possible?
Imagine being able to entice him with Jrue, Tyreke, and Davis. Those three should be making about 37 mil by then. Could bring in KD. Or could move Reke, re-sign Ryno and give KD the max.
Honestly, if he is tired of coming up short and we can offer him a chance to play with Jrue, Ryno, and the best big in the league PLUS one of his Team USA coaches, how could he say no?!?!
Just got the idea because Jalen Rose is predicting Durant will leave in '16 to play with Howard and Harden in Houston. Personally, I think Howard is on he downside by then, while AD will be hitting his prime. If it is between the two, I think playing with Davis would give Durant a better chance at a title. Plus, Davis doesn't demand touches. Would be perfect teammate for Durant.
For us to even be a remote opportunity. I think we'd have to make it to the WCF without him. I think that would get his attention.
Do you really think we can clear the cap space to sign him outright MM?
The math is there. Tyreke and Jrue will be making 21.2 at that point. AD's extension would kick in around 15 if he signs the 5 year max extension. That is 36. Personally, I would move Tyreke and spend that money on Ryno and Smith if I was gonna get Durant.
But yeah, cap should be around 64-66 by then. We would have the room. That isn't the problem. It would be getting him to go from one of the smallest markets to another one of the smallest markets when he will be signing the last big contract while he is still in his prime.
Let's be realistic. In today's league, why would LBJ come to NOLA? I'm high on our current team, but I'm not sold. We're a small market team and unproven.
Relative bump with regards to the other Lebron Thread.
LeBron is already building his roots in this city... hopefully for his eventual return to NO to play with AD:

This is embarrassing
Were you right? I mustve missed the article where Monty came out and said that... So many trade articles and threads about Pierre Jackson
I've never been a fan of the idea of LeBron coming here for three reasons:
1) sadly, he's too old, by the time Davis hits his prime, LeBron will be like 34-35 years old, and probably just a role player.
2) He will be taking away shots from Davis and Pierre the next couple of years, disrupting their development.
3) He'll want a big contract, and we could use that many to give Aminu the extension he rightfully deserves. That kid is just 22 years old!! He has the potential to be one of the of the best SFs in the league, and he's already the best rebounder.
But I've got to say, this thread has given me a lot to think about. Maybe bringing LeBron isn't such a bad idea after all, we could use all the mark
That's very true, if he could just improve his mid range shooting, long range shooting, passing, court vision and concentration, he'd easily we an all star. The kid has all the tools.
