Okur is a fine player. Guess we will see if he's worth all of that. I wouldn't have matched as well. If I had cap space, 8 a year is about as high as I would have gone. He is a bit of a specialty player at his position. If I had an outside oriented team I would have bid him.

The Hornets didn't take off until Okur started. He was perfect for their outside focused team. But the Hornets will still be strong.

Actually I think Barbosa is better than Peterson. So that position may be addition by subtraction. His back-up was pretty damn good as well.
