Nice flop BG, glad u got fouled out on it.
Clipper fans crying about refs when they have gained the most out of the poor officiating.
I'm all on board for Eric Bledsoe. all on board.
I am interested to see the Pacers series and how well they play against the Hawks to gauge where they are at right now. I always thought they matched up well with the Heat and would like to see them in the conference finals but they have fallen off the past month or so and haven’t impressed me much.
David Lee out, will not return this postseason. I guess that means Warriors' chances of advancing are reduced to 0?
I don't understand how the talking heads trash Brandon Jennings for his comments saying that the Bucks are going to go out there and beat the Heat. Realistic? Not really. But what's the point of playing the game if you just go out there and say "Oh, yeah.. we're going to lose to the Heat in 4." You gotta go out there and say "Damn straight we have a chance"
Leggo Spurs. Shut Magic Johnson up about the Lakers advancing to the 2nd round
they way Magic is talking you'd swear the Lakers were the number 1 seed
With Kobe, I actually think this Lakers team could beat the Spurs, but right now, the offense just has no way to develop. It all looks forced. Pau Gasol should be getting the ball every time down the floor.
I just can't enough of watching the lakers get spanked and look so hopeless!!! Lol...clean sweep coming for the spurs
Wasn't he given like a 5 year deal? That would mean they'd have a lot of dead money in paying two coaches no longer coaching. lol
They should of just sucked it up and brought back Phil. haha
Or make Kobe their next coach a la Bill Rusell.
Ginobili with 18 pts in 18 min, coming back from an injury
I'm not really rooting for anyone to be honest... If Kobe was still playing I would go with the Lakers, same with Rose on the East with the Bulls. I really like how the Spurs play as a team, trusting each other, and no matter who plays but they play the same style. True basketball.
Same with Boston, very compact and team work team, although they lack the presence of Rondo, who runs the show as very few can do.
But I'm rooting against the Heat. I don't like too much the 3 friends who united themselves to win a championship, what they could not do alone (aka lebron and his "CHOSEN 1" tatoo).
I hadn't watched a Milwaukee game the entire season till tonight, and I'm glad. Their offense is terrible. Basically it's just Jennings or Ellis racking up shot after shot.
It would never happen so... New Orleans is not an attractive place for superstar players to come, you know they like big markets.
But of course, my opinion would be the same on a guy who has tatooed on his back "CHOSEN 1" and thinks he's better than MJ but could not win a ship with his former team. He had to join 2 other SUPERSTARS to win 1.
Plus he made a show of his leaving out of Cleveland. Imagine how the true cavs fans felt.
I was a big fan of him when he was on the Cavs, but not anymore now.
Remember that "show" raised a lot of money for charity. Just saying.
13% shooting for the Rockets...?
Lin is pretty terrible. He can't run an offense.
Not surprising at all. Lin was a flash in the pan if there ever was. Just happened to be playing for one of the biggest media markets in the world and being of Asian descent.
I am not surprised that people are overreacting to a guy who is playing in his first postseason game vs the team everyone is expecting to represent the west in the NBA finals.
Lin is fine, he is just green behind the ears (as is everyone on the rockets outside of Harden and Asik). Can't fault him for his poor play now when the entire season he has been the same guy now.
That ain't no excuse. Chris Paul was lights out in his first playoff experience including against the Spurs.
Lin is okay. Average. Run of the mill. Dozens by the dime. Nothing special. Aight. So-so. Punitive. Benign.
That is to say he's just another NBA player.
His back up is outplaying him. :hihi:
Guards that can control sets and set up others are just hard to come by **cough BURKE cough**
Looks like Charles is right. This year's 1st round looks turrible. That doesn't say much for Lin making it to the playoffs if these first 2 days are an indication.
Kenny Smith is right in saying that Lin isn't a bad player, he is just inexperienced.
Lin's a solid player. Not bad, not special.
This is one brutal game. The Rockets should burn the game film and just try to start fresh.
Always thought double fouls were weird.
Yeah.
Hehe. Brilliant defense there.
Christ. We could totally be on a level with the Clippers if we just had a lil' more dynamic edge. A quicker PG to get out and run. A stronger, more mature Davis, and another scorer.
How many jump passes has CP3 thrown in this quarter alone? I can't believe some people used that as a reason to nitpick at Trey Burke's game. SMH
It's an effective move in the post. Defense has to respect the attack to the hoop, letting the PG just wrap around pass for an easy bucket.
And Eric Bledsoe's speed is...want. Hell. Need.
Where is the awareness? Gasol was TRIPLE TEAMED. Two people are uncovered. SOMEONE MOVE. Give Gasol an outlet. Dullards.
Come on Grizzlies, you can do this. Like Kobe would tweet: #countonthebears
If only the Grizzlies had some kind of outside threat, even inconsistent. A guy who was 6'8" or so with tremendous hops.
Unfortunately such a person would probably get paid a stupidly high max contract and thus not be cost effective. Which is more important than winning.
I have faith that Odom will screw something up.
Odom just took a charge. You're jinxing him!
Tony Allen. Why the heck would he throw that pass? And Zach Randolph will always be in foul trouble in this series. Game starts with him having 3 PFs.
I really can't believe that call on Z.
Grizz offense has looked better with z bo out. I've been thinking they should go small or something. Put Bayless and let prince guard odom. Their spacing is awful
There you go. Odom hands them the tie. Maybe there's more where that came from.
