Well, Kobe has done that before. He shouts at Gasol all the time.

For the few I have watched Muhammad I like his offensive game, his shooting form is beautiful and he's got some good moves.
What I don't like is his attitude, he reminds me of Cousins. Depending on with which chip/mentality he goes to the NBA, it could be very dangerous.
I think I'm all for drafting Burke, no matter where we pick.
Perfect glue guy, he can do every and anything, he is good at every aspect of the game, not great at any of them, besides maybe rebounding and defending but he can create his own shot, has a jump shot, mid range, 3pt, post game, athleticism, great passer, very smart.
kobe supposed to have a bad attitude, he is a baller, rivers was supposed to have a bad attitude, he doesnt, if our FO thinks bazz is the BPA he is the pick
I'd rather be 1-2 or 6-8.
Smart or McLemore at 1-2 .
Burke at 5-8.
If Noel falls to us does no one like the idea of AD at the 4 and Noel at the 5?
By the way, good piece MM. I think Monty could get the most out of Bazz defensively. I think he could also help him improve as a defensive rebounder. He did wonders for Aminu.
We will get to land a stud! noel smart mclemore porter oladipo burke bazz... we are going to get a great player
I'll go on record with this. If Shabazz catches on, that's what his desire to be good will be compared to. Guys like Kobe, Melo, Durant, LeBron.
It's part of the prerequisite. It's part of why I haven't dismissed him offhand yet. Because if he actualizes his skills, he's going to be damn good.
He's more JR smith than Kobe IMO
Eh. Both players would elevate this team.
i dont think eman is comparing skill, more competitive drive and killer instinct like jordan, kobe and cp3 have.
and i dont like people comparing his game to jr smith or vince carter or high flyers like that, bazz uses his strength way more than his hopps, u could call him a bigger james harden maybe, i like paul pierce a lot also, jr smith's game is more similar to mclemore's than bazz's
JR Smith has NEVER backed anyone down. And he also doesn't crash the offensive glass. Like at all. They're almost polar opposites in that regard. Smith grabs defensive boards and ignores the offensive one, while Shabazz crashes one and ignores the other. Bazz also gets to the FT line a lot.
Which is another prerequisite for scoring a lot of points. Getting to the line.
Can't really compare his game to guys like JR Smith or Nick Young like NBADraft.net do. They may judge overall impact to be there, but his style of game is very old school like the OP said.
J.R Smith also went into the NBA out of high school and hasn't really had much of a size advantage over anyone where Shabazz does against college players(to back people down). Their TS% are roughly the same as well as their eFG% Block % as well as their usage rates and turnover rates. Their Ortg and Drtgs are near identical as well (admittedly not a great measure). J.R. Smith IS a much more willing passer (shockingly enough). But yes, i think the comparison is fundamentally sound. You may disagree, and I hope we can agree to disagree if this hasn't swayed you.

I like what bazz could bring to our team in terms of skills. Next to GV EG he could shine.
The lineup that is exciting me the most would be Rivers-EG-Bazz-Ryno-AD. It could be a nightmare for the opposing team defense and we should be pretty good on defense.
I think that when you go pro and especially in organisation like the Pels with great expectations for the future and a head coach like Monty any overconfident/arrogant/headcase kid will watch his attitude. I mean, look what Monty did with Thornton. I trust Monty enough so I'm not worried about Bazz attitude. Plus Bazz will be surrounded by young vets, so he would be alright ;) .
I really like Burke, his gesture reminds me of a more scoring oriented version of young CP3, before CP acquired his charisma in his shot form and his court vision. He is not a very elegant passer, but an effective one. i think he could be very good for us. But what are we supposed to do with Gv and Rivers then if we draft Burke?
Pair AD and Noel could be a very interesting combination. Does Noel have some Drummond in him?
These are my 3 targets if CLE takes Porter before us.
Having the 5th pick this year puts us in an interesting position IMO :)
Victor Oladipo is made for this team. His work ethic, passion, tenacious defense, athleticism, and low key attitude is exactly what we need. The thought of him and AD gives me chills. I want this kid so badly.
Its probably a given we have to get rid of Gordon if we draft Oladipo. Not necessarily this year, because you know Monty likes to ease the rooks in, but once Oladipo proves he can flourish as a starter.
Also, any chance Oladipo can play point?
