I literally have nothing else to trade so clearly I am done dealing for the rest of this draft.. hopefully 3 top 30 players can carry me to victory.
beginning to wish trades weren't allowed. This is getting ridiculous. lol
I kind of agree I'm pretty bothered by it... I kind of think the trade that just happens makes no
Sense...
I can't follow the trades and not even gonna waste time trying to make any, just gonna make a pick when it's my turn.
It's just stupid. It slows down the draft process, and causes confusion for not much gain. I'm getting annoyed with it.
I'll just pick where I'm supposed to pick.
how about no trades till we get to like the 4th round?
Looking to move into the early 2nd, someone hmu with a simple trade.
Yes it is chad Anthony.
Though I am a fan of trades. I just think it spices things up. Makes things fun.
once first and 2nd rounds are over trades will slow down significantly.. same thing happened last year.
There's already been a few questionable trades
Yeah. Few of them have been but those are also the same people that just are about having 2 people they want and screwing te rest of te roster. I just hope it was a bit more constant and a little bit quicker.
its really tricky trading picks. also it delays the drafting process a little
These trades are crap. one team gets 3 superstars and the other team gets stuck with a million role players? wow.
I mean I'm sorry but it's like the person that finds the complete moron in the fantasy football league and fleeces them, but it's not blatantly stupid enough to find a 70% vote.
Yea, running a league is hard... I don't want to be overbearing... but we might have a Kaitos 2.0 situation going on. The only reason why I allowed trades was because I thought the draft order still wasn't fair, which while I think it is better than last year, it's still not fair really.
^^^ The draft order is better than last years.
Also yes I am going to have 3 top 30 players but I wont be picking again till the 8th round! The spurs meanwhile will have a 2, two 3s, two 4s, two 5s, two 6s, two 7s, two 8s. They will be fine, we both made a trade off, I gave up any and all depth for a big 3 while he gave up a superstar to build the Denver Nuggets 2.0. Both strategies have worked and could work, heck you yourself have won this game without a first round pick so he may have ended up getting the better of me.
Kaitos made clearly lopsided deals where the return he got was nowhere near what gave up. The spurs traded 2 picks (1 and 2)+ 9,10,11,12 for a 2,3,4,5,6,7. The deals are fair and he is not a "moron" or a kaitos clone.
Again. We can all prevent this if we don't allow trading of picks. Trading players are OK but not picks from 1st to 4th round
^^^ I think the trading makes this fun... and more often than not teams just trade themselves in circles or out of contention. Without trading however there is no way this can be fair, the team with Lebron or KD or Paul will win.
Maybe limit the amount of picks that can go in/out to make things less confusing and limit the amount of crazy possibilities. Say only 3 parts (picks/players) can go in/out. I think that would be the fairest thing that can be done.
I know trading is fun. But 1 kaitos can ruin the whole league if we don't regulate the trades. Having the draft setup this way makes it fair from team 1 to team 24. Trading picks is very tricky specially in this superstar driven league. Well see how fair tthese deals are when these picks becomes real players
I like my positions, honestly. I'll still have plenty of room to work with, as well as accumulate talent later in the draft with all the...(earlier) late round picks I have. I pick early and late in every round starting 3rd. So I have flexibility and can work with a lot more desirable pieces. Maybe I missed out on a Superstar, but I didn't miss out on a Star with the trades. Where I would have picked in the 1st or 2nd didn't have any difference makers. Good players, but I wouldn't consider any of them able to carry a team by himself at that point, so trading down and getting a stronger overall group, rather than trying to pull a psuedo-star out of my bum seemed like a good option. Still does.
Alright. So with all this talk and such, who's up and let's keep this thing moving and grooving.
When the trade thread is a full page longer than the draft thread there is a problem...
I vote for quicker time for teams to make picks at least from 12 hours to 6 hours or even 3, I'm fine with.
Still to early for the next guy on my board, I'd do swap 2nds with someone if I could trade my two 4th round picks for a 3rd and a 5th.
