Please put someone who can run an offense in.
NAW, Lonzo, Ingram, Jrue again, someone.
Coach, put NAW in there!
New Rule: At least someone who create their own shot needs to be on the floor at all times.
Cannot run a lineup of Moore, Redick, Hart, Kenrich, Okafor for extended minutes. Just cannot.
Ooooaaakkk!!!
is it me or does young have pubes on his head [emoji23]

Redick sinks the jumper off the screen.
So smooth with it
Zion returns, with Melli coming in as well.
Lonzo just sunk a stepback 3
God this is so much better with an actual point in

Don't like the look of our defense, I have to say. Obviously it's super early in the year: game 1 of pre-season, but it looks like nobody is rotating out to open shooters and that's not good.
Zion has such good roller instinct. Just gravitates to the basket, and is always there for the dish off
Intensity super high. Hawks just running pnr. Once our defensive awareness gets better throughout the season, we will clamp these type of teams down.
Hope so. Right now our rotations are really weird. Been four or five plays where someone has just ended up completely open on the wing with a wide open three, nobody even within 10 feet.
You expect that once or twice a game, not 5 times a half :hihi:
Like you said, defensive awareness takes a while to settle in. Not worried too much about it October 7th.
Zion dishing to Moore!
melli is a damn basketball player wow

I wonder if we're gonna get a foul lol yep! starting early [emoji23]

Nice finish from Ingram, went straight to the rim off the Melli assist.
Jrue's barely played tonight, and we're up double digits. That's good to see.
so oak is just standing there setting a screen and it's a foul?? lol

We lack chemistry. that's fine because we have a nice mix of young blood and seasoned vets.
This team has sooo much talent out on the floor at all times.
BI with a quiet 8 nice

Ugly possession there from Ingram. Dribbled straight into the open lane, missed JJ standing wide open in the corner, got mobbed by the D and instead of completing the circuit and coming back out to make the play, threw up the ugly turnaround midranger. Less of that, please.
huh? Collins isn't even that big what is he talking about lol

Ingram's passing has been really off.. He just needs to settle down a bit..
And there's Ingram with another missed mid-ranger.
Please, man, stop doing that.
Great play there. Ingram was covered in the corner so he made the read and passed into Zion who made the quick bounce pass to a wide open Okafor. Great execution by all three there.
Lonzo with his 3rd 3 of the night.
Ball looking very solid tonight!
Zo has done a really good job on Young..
Omg Zo hit three 3s already? lol
zo looking good with the shot that's just gonna give confidence love it

Zo, Holiday, or Ingram will have to be on the court at all times it seems..
Bro. We got so lucky with Zion. Holy....
End of the first half:
Zion Williamson: 11/5/2/1 on 50% from the floor
Lonzo: 9/3/6 on 42.9% from the floor (3 of 6 from 3!!!)
Ingram: 8/3 on 28.6% from the floor
Jrue: 10/1/2 on 80% from the floor
Favors: 2/2 on 1/1 shooting (only played 8 minutes)
That's the starting lineup so far!
Okafor has also put in great backup minutes, really attacking the offensive glass, letting him rack up 11/6 pretty quickly. Redick has 7 points, and Kenrich has done a little of everything, finishing the half with 3/2/1 on 1/2 from 3.
Melli has 6/3/2 in only 5 minutes, showing a lot of flashes. Rebounded well, brought the ball up the floor, had a nice assist to Ingram.
Some good ball movement at times in this first half, although plenty of turnovers to go with it as well (mostly in the first quarter). Defense has looked pretty solid at the point of attack, but rotations after offensive plays have been dreadful. That has improved as the game has gone on, though.
Big Jah with 11 points, 6 rebs, and 3 assists on 80% shooting.
I think he is going to be a vital piece for our bench.
Just mute him, I have. He says nothing about me ssaying that Moore can't run an offense, and nothing about me pointing out that nobody at ALL was rotating properly on defense, but the minute it's something about Ingram he gets mad. What can you do? Notice he didn't say anything about me complimenting Ingram for the entry pass moments later.
He thinks I hate Ingram on a personal level or something. Not worth dealing with.
Yeah, I agree. One of the three, or perhaps NAW as well, who I suspect can also do the job.
You jsut need someone on the court that can create their own shot, AND for others. At least one person.
I think Zion has the potential to do that as well, he's shown flashes of it before, but he's not ready to run things as the primary ballhandler for minutes on end yet.
