Not feeling that, fellas. Concussions have life threatening ramifications. Worst a knee injury can do is make you need a wheelchair.
But...yeah, 4-6 weeks and he's had no damage? No guarantee he'll ever recover. I mean that puts him at over a year long rehab for...what? I don't even know.
The purr of the Charlotte Bobcats, the buzz of the Charlotte Hornets.
It is just mind blowing how transparent he is. At this point we should just be happy to be parting with him. We don't want someone this unintelligent and immature in the locker room.
A YEAR FOR A KNEE BRUISE!?!?!?!! I could recover faster than that.

I don't even care anymore.
I'm not buying it. He's been sitting all of preseason, don't think another month or so will change anything.
Um.. Trade him to bucks for Brandon Jennings..
If we get Brandon Jennings only if he agrees to sign an extension.
I'm trying to buy what he's saying. Can someone explain to me how the strengthening he's been doing for the past year hasn't fixed this injury, but now he "knows [he] can strengthen it during the four- to six-week time period and return"?Quote:

Official diagnosis is boo-boo on 'da knee bone.
Haha and Gordon is the cry baby? Give the man a break. I can't wait to see what's said if he comes back in 6 weeks and ball out.
I stand against boos-boos!
Gordon apologists after matching the contract: "Just wait he'll be back in pre-season and ready to go!"
Gordon apologists after he was held out of pre-season: "Just wait he'll be back and ready to go opening night!"
Gordon apologists after he was announced to be out 'indefinitely:' "Just wait he'll be back in a couple of weeks!"
Gordon apologists after he was announced to be out four to six weeks: "Just wait he'll be back then and light it up!"
Gordon apologists after he'll be out further after those six weeks: "Just wait he'll be back and ready for the 2013-2014 season!"
Gordon apologists should climb in a spider hole and come out to see their own shadow on Dec 15th haha
Eric Gordon now says he'll rehab for 4-6 weeks. Guess who's trade-eligible in 6 weeks. Hmmm.

Why wasn't the name listed in the article of the doctor that Gordon saw in Chicago? Why do we not have a specific diagnosis? Why does the mysterious doctor from Chicago say he needs 4-6 weeks and the Hornet's doctors say the knee is structurally fine?
Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up having some stress fractures or stress reaction in his knee. Sometimes those things don't show up on imaging studies.
I had a stress fracture. Hurt like hell, but the podiatrist was able to point it out clear as day after x-rays. I hope Gordon is going to a better foot doctor than me.
Gordon stinks. Total Makaveli. Dude is sketchy and best and suspect until he proves himself.
who picked the doctor in Chicago? why wouldn't the team send him to Andrews or something? it was already ridiculous when he wasn't ready for the season opener, now this is just sad.
My question exactly.
What sports star doesn't go to James Andrews when they have a problem like this? He is the man. He was an athlete. He knows what you need to hear.
Gordon is listening to the wrong voices. I hope he gets traded.
Just because you know Andrews name doesn't mean he is the only competent doctor out there.
trade him, im done with this ****
Drew Brees, Steven Strausberg, and every name in sports that has been injured knows James Andrews. The fact that Gordon doesn't is sad.
Wow, so much for "indefinitely". After, "4-6 weeks", Gordon better put up or shut up. But this smells rotten.
Can we force him into seeing somebody?
Aw man I swear this dude is becoming my fav hornets player....he's really akward, that's all folks lol
It never ceases to be nonsense. No matter how much I think on it.
I don't know what amount of work could he do in 6 weeks (ain't it funny that we don't even give him the under?) that he didn't get in the 6 months previous. I mean c'mon.
And yeah, it's a very interesting coincidence that 6 weeks is when we can ship him elsewhere.
he'll come back 4-5 weeks so he can showcase(because he isn't actually hurt) and up his market value before he can be traded in 6
Name me one team that can take on Gordon's contact?
Now tell me that Gordon is going to agree to go to that team.
We are stuck with him till 2013/14 season.
We aint going to trade him to take on more bad salary.
BTW do the salaries need to match or if a team has cap room can they take on his contract?
Ie. Indiana

From the AP game recap:
That makes it sound even fishier.Quote:
Talking before the game, coach Monty Williams would not confirm a report by Yahoo! Sports that Gordon would miss 4-to-6 weeks. Said Williams: "We're still processing information. We haven't talked to any doctors. We certainly haven't talked to our doctors on a day we're getting ready for a game."
Didn't he just say over the offseason that he had no long lasting injuries, just freak injuries that he has recovered from?
Didn't someone say that strengthening his knee is what resulted in the soreness? So now he's going to "strengthen" it again and be back in 4-6 weeks?
Do we even have a chance of getting some decent value for him in a trade at this point? Demps is too smart for this.
This is soooooo boring..let's ban any "gordon thread" for the next month and a half, shall we?
