Its Cleveland... Baron and PJ for Lebron
Looking forward to that thread HH. But this one has a long way to go to beat the "VC for BD" thread back over the summer. What was that one like 15 or 16 pages?Quote:

Hey guys, is a deal confirmed? Because the dudes at IGN say a deal has been confirmed.
Tell us what team Harvey!!!!
What's the point of consistently trying to compare this team to that sorry excuse on Airline Dr.? They have been complete failures for most of the 20 years Benson has owned it. I've seen this team try to enhanced itself since it's been here. Comparing the two is like comparingapples to oranges.Quote:

"The one name that the Grizzlies have been associated with in the past is New Orleans' Baron Davis. Davis has a lot of red flags (a potential insurance problem for an oft-injured player, for one) and one would think that Jamaal Magloire would have to be involved."
"Recent trade rumors have New Orleans dealing Baron Davis to Golden State for Dale Davis and others (maybe Mickael Pietrus). It's a potentially interesting deal for the Hornets if Pietrus is involved simply because they could put together a fun young line-up with Dickau, JR Smith, Pietrus plus older guys like PJ Brown and Davis. And they'd have room to pick up a guy like Louisiana native Stromile Swift in the summer. Meanwhile, the Warriors could put Davis, Jason Richardson, Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy and Adonal Foyle on the floor. Keep an eye on this one."

Yeah, it definitely makes little sense. It's not a deal I would make, unless we got some insane package back.
Haha, anyone else you'd like thrown in there?Quote:

West drafted Lynch and has been trying to deal Wells and Wright for some time.
Eh, I suppose you could throw in JWill too. Couldn't hurt.Quote:

Yeah, it's not happening. No need to have Jason Williams and Baron Davis. Unless you have some reason to fill up a disabled list spot (I bet you can't guess which...).
It isn't Memphis. If they would rather trade him out of the conference, I know they won't trade him into the same division.
I don't know that Big Dog would even play here when the trade goes down. I think the Hornets are still looking for a big body. If the GS deal doesn't happen, I think the Hornets are looking for a front line guy.

Due to New Orleans and Washington being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. New Orleans and Washington had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Pietrus is 6'7' I think, so I think he can play SF indeed.
You got it!!!Quote:
