Would he have taken the deal if he didn't get the 6th year?
Probably so IMO.

Yeah my hopes are to land some other pieces I can find available. That and hope one of the remaining RFAs lose Internet for a few days.
Fingers crossed!!
Thank mo williams pleasure doin buisness with ya!
Commish, I still got JamesOn Curry on my roster
Can we send bids now?
New bid deadline is Wednesday?
yes
I would rather have Melo signed for 5 years compared to 4 years.
My two second rounders are still on my team as well.
When it comes to Paul I'd rather have him for 4 years so I can give him 5 years when he's 29 rather than 30
Roy and Paul are so OLD
Only 4 teams have the space to offer max money.
Seattle
Portland
Sacramento
Phoenix
The Pacific got CASH
Glad none are in the east

Get money, ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhj
The Ridnour deal gives me hope when it's Martin and Ilyasova's times to resign. Already have two maxes. Glad to not have to sign a third out of necessity. With no cap space and no other PG options, would have had no other option but to match someone overpaying for him.
I'll be starting my Pistons presser soon. Only need to fill that twelfth spot but it won't be that interesting to hold off for.
I'm bout to make it rain MLEs!!!!!!

Sources close to the situation report that the first call of NBA Free Agency was from the Houston Rockets to Carmelo Anthony. Anthony is the Rockets top priority this offseason, and they are reportedly prepared to put a max offer in front of him. Decision could come as early as Wednesday, sources indicated.

He started getting there last year. PPG tailed off a bit once Ridnour came on board and helped him out a bit. I still feel like scoring could come from anywhere on the floor but it would be nice to see Martin get closer to the 20 a game range. That would be a pleasant surprise.
:hihi: Yeah having no cap makes the off-season sooooooo boring. This is the first year I've experienced it and it will probably be that way for the foreseeable future. But it'll be worth it. I'm excited for the season to start. I won my first play-off series and felt like I could have went much further barring injuries. And I made a huge upgrade at the 2. If I land one of these guys with my MLE I'll be very very happy.
But it has been interesting just watching the off-season show this year rather than being a part of it.
I need a feeder team.

Hornets still favorites to retain LeAndro Barbosa but Sonics have put big offer on the table I'm told
I hope we get a midnight FA Sim.
Since no one seems to believe me, here is a photo of Anderson's contract that was submitted to the league.
