Look at the birds.
I just don't see any Al Harringtons out there this year.
Can't hate on 3 out of the 5 posting the Mavs to win the division. They have a very good starting 5.
Just realized Tray had me calling him RFP.
Sorry RPF.
He has a really good team, but it would be a huge disappointment if I didn't win the division. But if I have to figure out how to incorporate Jason Williams at the point. I haven't had a A+ handler since Cassell in season two. The current group I have has done well with a fast pace, but I may do better with a normal pace since I have a legit ball-handler. I think the Grizz will have a shot as well at the division.
Colt of personality.

Am I doing enough to humiliate big dub.? Please pm me every time he posts
As soon as someone puts together how simple it is to mix and post these podcasts, I'll be out of the job. As for now, rack up my strikes if you will. I'm not leaving the batters box until someone finds a way to get me out!!!
Vote Pistons for Central Division Champs!!!
105 plays already, wth?!
EDIT: Just got through it, great job
Great stuff as always.
I didn't have a chance to listen to it, but was I breaking up through portions of it? My internet WiFi connection was garbage in my hotel last night
I don't know why but I think the banter about how to say kclaboy's name is hilarious.
I personally think you all should continue the cuck...laaa! version and do Gob's chicken dance from Arrested Development.
Listened to first half... wow. I think Portland got talked about more than all episodes combined.
I agree with most everything said, and I realize I'm at the dreadful place of being in the middle of the pack, but heck my team was 9th seed last year and I didn't even show up to play.
Too be honest the new 4 year rule is the only reason why I offered Barbosa max. He expires with Francis(who will be old) and if it falls through, I have the valuable clean slate to work with.
I thought about moving Francis, but with Barbosa coming, I'd be stupid to move Francis to make room for Barbosa.
Also, only the RFA GM is required to keep that player for 1 full year. I think I can trade him after 60 days like normal.
Says if you match, you can't trade. Doesn't say anything about the offer sheet GM.Quote:
RFA is simple. You have 48 hours to match or decline the offer. So 1:03 on Friday. If you match, you can not trade the player for one season. If a player is signed to a offer sheet and the previous GM does not match or decline, then it will automatically be declined.
Not technically. I think we need to ask commish what the rule is here. In the real NBA the signing team can move him, but we're also limiting the team that may possibly lose him by not allowing sign and traded for said players. IE we're taking a few liberties away.
The question for Portland is how much of an upgrade is Barbosa over Finley? Will it be enough of an upgrade to lift them to the playoffs?
Is the S&T only because the program can't process it?
Younger, and I'm willing to invest points to train. Without me making a signing at either the 5 or 4, I'm not making the playoffs. The Max coming in a little higher put a wrinkle in that plan.
I believe that I was the one who brought up trading some of your guys and upon re-listening I don't think my point came across like I wanted.
I meant you should have traded them before, you are too deep in the rebuild now. It might not be too late but it will be hard to add pieces around 3 max contracts.
Very hard to. But now he has to stick with this group and see what happens. He's gonna honestly have to make some trades to add quality bigs. Trading expiring contracts, picks, points, etc. He doesn't have to do it this season. He can try to build up his points, get some decent picks in the next couple of seasons and in year 2-3 acquire a big man by a trade.
I think a lot has to do with me. People would offer good packages if I wanted to suck for 2 years with a bunch of draft picks and then build it up, but I just felt the hand I was dealt when I joined steered me away from it. I had probably the best pg in the league at the time, and a SF everyone wanted in Prince, but my lack of understanding of this game killed me because I didn't realize it would take 3-4 years to have actual cap room.
Either way, I'm a happy guy if Barbosa joins or if he is matched. I have plans for both instances.
One good thing is that you could hit on a big with MLE (or remaining space) and next year sign them to a decent deal and hit on another MLE... it does happen (I wish I could've kept Mike miller that way)
