Yeah I'm rolling with Rivers and Roberts before I even make a phone call to Milwaukee.
Man we really need to make a move to get wilson chandler, he just turned 26 last month and in only 24 minutes for the nuggets he is averaging 13-5-1.5, if u gave him 36 minutes he could put up 18-8-2 while being a good defender and shooting 46% from the field and 41% from 3. This dude is an animal, he dropped 29 points on kawhi leonard last night with 9 rebounds.
I'm really interested in this Greg Smith from the Rockets, he is putting up very good numbers. Per 36 minutes he is averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds. He is 6"10 250 and is VERY athletic, he moves very well and can bang, he also has an awesome true shooting percentage of .641 and last year had an offensive rating of 131 and a defensive rating of 99. He also has a very high winshare at .178
I think he could develop into a very good center and be a great bruiser, scorer, rebounder next to Davis, plus with his athleticism he is a very good blocker. Would love to find a way to get this guy from the Rockets.
Someone I also like a lot for us off the bench is Gerald Henderson who was just an athletic slasher has develop a nice 3 point game, he is 25 and per 36 this year he is averaging 18pts - 4.5rebs - 3asts
Another young center who I think could fit well with us is 25 year old Jordan Hill. Per 36 minutes he is averaging an awesome 15 points and 13 rebounds!
He is only 25 and could another option next to davis giving us a great rebounder and defensive banger. He has a lot of potential. And he has an impressive .147 win shares.
He also has a very nice midrange jump shot for a center, well above average.
Another guy I wouldnt mind is Amir Johnson from the raptors, a very athletic and physical power forward who is putting up impressive numbers. 10pts 7.5rebs which is 13points 10rebounds per 36 minutes with a nice .150 win shares. Only problem is we have enough power forwards
Another guy who could be promising is Enes Kanter, idk if the Jazz would let him go but they only play him 15 minutes per game but being 6"11 and watching him play he has a pretty nice game averaging 17points 10 rebounds per 36 minutes and is only 20 years old so I see tons of room for him to get better. It would be hard to get him though but it does seem like the Jazz are set and plan on making Derrick Favors their future center, wonder if they would give us kanter for GV or if not GV and Lopez, they need a PG.
Also while I was looking at stats Robin Lopez puts up very impressive and efficient numbers, per 36 minutes he is averaging 16 points and 8 rebounds with 2.2 blocks with a nice win share of .125
Also Javale McGee in only being played 18 minutes per game but has been very productive. Per 36 he is averaging 18 points 9.5 rebounds and 4 blocks with an incredible win share of .165 which is the highest of his career.
Another guy Nikola Pekovic is averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds per 36 minutes with a win share of .163 only problem is that he is already 27 years old.
Derrick Williams is also having a decent season averaging 16.5 points and 8 rebounds per 36 minutes
at first I was taken aback by seeing so many posts from the same person, but then the idea guru on me....
mwhahahaha
THIS, and that's coming from someone who thinks Grevis is one of the worst starting PG in the NBA.
THIS TOO!!! Someone (more than likely Cuban) is going to offer him the max and Milwaukee is going to regret matching it.
Always been a big fan of his game. He would fit great at the 3 with Burke at the 1.
Love Smith's game, but 6'10 might be generous. He's pretty short to play C full time.
I like Kanter, but a guy I like more is Kosta Koufos. He is having a phenomenal season, quietly. Offensive rating of 122, defensive rating of 103. 8 ppg/7rbp in 22 minutes a night. 7 foot tall, 265 pounds. Shooting 58%. He fouls a lot if the only problem at almost 5 per 36 minutes. Has a win share/48 of .170
and I don't think he would be entirely ungettable.
Holy crap cousins had 36 points 22 rebounds vs the clippers tonight.
anyone against a lineup that looks like this? gordon gv for cousins.
jeff teague/rivers
victor oladipo/gerald henderson
corey brewer/aminu
AD/ryno
cousins/lopez
Well i dont think they would ever do that but if they would do GV lopez and our 2014 1st rounder i'd do it in a heart beat if we could land otto porter this year
teague or jennings
gordon
porter
davis
cousins
that team would be absolutely unstopable in 2 years.
To the OP, a guy I like in a backup role is D.J. Augustine. I know he is a local (I guarded him in high school), and I know he'd love to come back and play here. He is a UFA this off season, so it's something to think about. He played well for Indy this year off then bench, and he should be cheap.
I'd do this plus Sacto gets our 2014 1st round pick lotto protected:

Like I said, Cousins' trade value is at an all-time low. I'd throw it out there, see how they respond, and if they bark at it, then just move on. No big.
