Burke is small and won't excel in half court type games without bein lethat from 3, or superman

Trey Burkes, has the clutch gene, he makes some amazing passes can shoot the three ball and practically leading his team to a NCAA championship by himself...
Why the heck wouldn't you pick this guy.. yes we got Vasquez but he doesnt have the impact yet to lead a team to victories like CP3 did, and i see just that in Burkes.
I think the pelicans give Rivers a chance at PG since that is why you drafted him. My top 3 starts with Smart because he can play the 2 as well. McLemore which could guard the 3 if necessary, then Porter. Olidipo would be next then trade down for a late pick and next year one.
I love this thread for discussion's sake, but it's kind of moot because we won't have our choice between all three. Perhaps two. Maybe only one of them are left by 6-8.
I figured he was under 6' without shoes. The 6'5" wingspan makes me feel better.
Barrea had a pretty big piece in the championship run too.
I like Burke. I think he will make it in the NBA and have a nice career. We would be lucky to have him. His height isn't an issue to me. His speed might be, but contrary to what that guy on 24/7 says, Burke should be on our radar or our front office should be fired for overlooking the best pg in NCAA.
Burke, but Muhammad before Porter or Oladipo
Dipo all the way
I've watched every game of Michigan on the ncaa tourney and liked pretty much Burke. He's got a nice shoting stroke and range, good handles, pass and court vision.
At some point, Burke reminds me of George Hill. Mainly cause of his body building I guess.
I would go with Burke.
Ps: i think this year is the first time I have ever watched more than 1 college game.

I think VO gives you more versatility in what you want to do going forward. If you want to keep Gordon, fine run VO at the 3. He is combo player. Because of his long arms and defensive ability you can play him there. Well you dont want to keep Gordon? Trade him and play VO at the 2. I really think that Granger is gettable. Send Gordon to Indy. Run Rivers at the one OR much better, make it three team deal and send Lopez and Aminu to LAC for Bledsoe and somebody else (I dont know Ryan Hollins?). Sign Al Jefferson
Bledsoe, Rivers, Roberts
VO, Rivers
Granger,Miller
Davis, Ryno, Smith
Jefferson, Hollins
Has Shabazz fallen that far? He is a scoring wing, the best in the draft, and we need scoring from the wing. Like Davis he was the top recruit in the country last year and though now he is deemed a "below the rim" player, last year he won the dunk contest for McDonald's All-Americans (just saying, he's got some hops). I'm not saying I'd take him above Porter, but if we are sitting there at six, seven or eight, I think he'd merit some strong consideration. I'd be happy to live with a vasquez/gordon/bazz backcourt until the trading deadline and see what we've got. You could also move bazz to two-guard if you deal Gordon.
I won't be mad if they take Bazz but he's gonna have to convince me that he's worth the pick. I'll warm up to him I'm sure but I'll be skeptical.
And I don't really want to be married to his dad either, ugh.
