Given our two most valuable players are, for the time being, both nominally power forwards, we'd be pushing the envelope to throw a large deal (and he will want a large deal) at another.
If we turf Lopez, and I think it's unlikely, then we'll most likely be in the market for a legitimate center. Everything at present points to the team not being inclined to play Davis at the 5 for anything more than spot minutes.
In that case, give me Lopez for 1 year, $5 mil over Hickson for 4 years, $30 mil (ball-park) any day.
