Toronto does not have a 1st round pick, and when your a small market team you have to build trough the draft. The team is doing the right thing we are not built to win this year. Would you like to have the seasons the hornets had in OKC win a good amount of games miss the the playoffs and draft a J Wright type of player.

Then again the next year. And again the next year. We'd have all the high picks. And then, without any success to stand as a solid foundation to build a contender from, BOOM championships. That's how it works.

I'm going to take this opportunity to say when I started this thread I had no idea why RYNO was being sat

now that I know it's b/c he caught a cold or something... I hope he's back in the line-up Friday night... Sunday at the latest

The whole tank craze is alive and well.

I am going to Wizards game Friday, I actually would love to see all hands on deck for that one.

I hate losing, but tanking could be the difference from being in the top 6 and getting a good player, to getting a longshot. This yr is lost. This draft is not deep, the talent gap is wide after the top 10. Hell, a couple of loses by the T'Wolves and we may have had Drummond.

Were a small market. Meaning, the draft will have to be the biggest part of the rebuild. When we start to win then FA would want to come to NOLA.

I doubt this organization wants to lose, Monty and Dell has made it subtly clear, the personnel will change. Porter, Oladipo, Smart,Shabazz,Burke, will be fantastic to have on this team and will have immediate impact. Basically, if u wanna become a winning team, for us, the best way is to acquire a top 6 pick in this draft. Lets make sure one of them are here is all.
