I cosign this powerful message. I mean. Granger.... Really? {Mod edit}.

So you're saying there's just no way they'll let George go? I mean Granger is a good player. SG is their only weakness in their starting 5 and we have a very good one (when healthy). They're never going to beat the Heat with the Roster they have right now. But if we offered EG and Vasquez and you don't think they'd let George go?
Hill, EG, Granger, D.West, Hibbert. That's a starting five that could definitely beat the Heat next year if healthy. And their second unit would be decent (which is better than Miami's) with Vasquez leading them. And we know EG would sign off on being traded there.
If we are trying to build for the future, how in any world would Granger help? I would rather have a dis-interested Gordon with that contract over a broken SF. I don't see any way it would help us at all.
Josh Smith either.... I don't understand the thought process behind your thinking?

That's what I think about everytime the subject of Gordon being traded and the words Indiana and Granger are the first words mentioned. "Aww dere dey go, dere dey go, everytime you talk about Eric Gordon being traded somebody gotta pull Danny Granger and Indiana out dey...."
:rotfl:
That's exactly what I'm saying. There's a reason we want to trade Gordon and a first for this guy. Gordon's on Max and a huge injury risk. I don't think they'd trade George for eg and anyone (outside of Davis). And to be honest I wouldn't do it if I were them either. George has the talent to be Scottie Pippen-esque IMO
The Brooklyn Nets are trying to get an overpriced SG, they are talking with the Cats for Ben Gordon for Kris Humpries.
I would trade Gordon for Marshon Brooks straight up.......
This is what I would want

Pretty much Gordon and Vasquez for Mayo, Marion, and Bebouis (sp)
Mayo is our future SG who is healthy, Marion, we can try to trade him in another deal to a contender or buy him out... This way, we get worse, but have a bight young star for the future.

This is better for the Hornets but less likely.... we give up Lopez instead of Vasquez.
The thread title is somewhat misleading. Is anyone really surprised? As far as I'm concerned Anthony Davis is the only untouchable player on this roster. That of course means they'd listen to offers for the other guys on the roster.
Agreed. I'm just starting to hope we do trade Gordon rather than keep him. Last offseason I was on the bandwagon for keeping him, but now that he's been healthy and played some games i'm not as impressed as I thought I would be. He seems to turn it over half the time he drives to the rim and his FG% is way down. He is supposed to be our best player but I haven't seen him take over one game yet. I've seen him take over a half, but not a whole game. I don't want our best player to disappear ever, I want him to step up. I'm much more concerned about his play than I am his injuries.
I sure do hope they're listening.
This is getting near the level of annoying as Dwight Howard. Luckily we don't have near the spotlight to amplify this.
And now here's Marion saying he won't report to a bad team. :hihi:

SF are hard to get so how about this http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=a6mgdog. We'll still have our picks which could go anywhere from SG to C
Vasques, Rivers
McLemore or Smart, Ben Gordon
MKG, Aminu
Davis, Ryno
Pek, Smith, Withey
What's good is Gordon is a good trade/expiring next year for more pieces. I'd still like to buy back a late first and get Withey.
