I'm sure they had some amazing analysis, like the fact that we have no chance of re-signing Gordon.

Basically we need a great scorer. Austin Rivers is perfect for that role. You can't build a contender in one offseason. Rivers will be a great building piece.
i really think there is a lot to this Monty/Austin relationship that could make Austin buy into being less selfish.
Despite everything, I think we've secretly promised him.
I think your right the only doubt in my mind is that whole dell twitter scandal but the media has been wrong b4 so...
him and davis would be sweet
I love how every prospect mentions loving Monty and how several want to play here. It's a good time to be a Hornet fan.
Davis, Rivers,Gordon will be a sexy team. Very star-like appeal team.
What if Rivers think playing for Monty will be a cakewalk simply because he knows him? :hihi: I mean a cakewalk as in coming in and having his way. How would that turn out? I'm not saying that's what's on Rivers' mind but it's just something that crossed mine.
I doubt that seriously. It feels good to have a potential "star player" come out and say that he WANTS to be here. I can dig it.
That's not true. That team was a 2nd seed in the NCAA tournament and it wasn't because of him. He had good players on his team, but he didn't know how to play within the system and his defense stuck. He got torched in the loss against Lehigh. He wasn't that good last season.
We're hearing Bryan Colangelo and the Raptors are leaning towards Austin Rivers over Dion Waiters at 8.

we should have an austin rivers sub-forum
Dude is overrated as a prospect. He has talent, but he doesn't know how to apply it.
